The Last Of The Americans Christmas Guide of 2025/Top Five moments of The Last Of The Americans in 2025

(Scene begins with a finger tap on a smartwatch as the 1994 American Gladiators plays. The scene cuts to James jumping down a cliff from the 0:00-0:03 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators' original run. The 0:04 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators shows James Faraci landing in Santa's sleigh and entirely morphing into James Faraci The Last Of The Americans Christmas mode with his long sleeve button-up Shirt with Christmas Trees on it, Blue cargo Jeans, and Black Work boots until 0:07 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run as scene cuts to James and Santa riding with the 12th Doctor and Clara at the 0:13 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run.)

(0:14-0:17 show Rebecca Yaun and Nick Yaun as the two run after the Grinch before cutting to Crosslyn Castillo and Doug Yaun baking cookies before cutting to the 0:17-0:19 mark as it shows Jessica Lopez-Barkl and Nick Lopez drinking their weight in "Holiday Cheer 200 Proof," Paulo & Brenda Fonseca popping in A Muppets Christmas Special on a player before cutting to the 0:20-0:28 mark as we see Eric Kurtzke, Andrew Beach and Olivia Horvath decorating.)

(Cuts to the doors outside of James' space and time machine as the 0:28 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators shows when James stands on top of his Time and Space device and tosses a candy cane then cuts over to multiple clips from the past twelve years of "The Last Of The Americans" Christmas reviews/top 12s as the Candy Cane flips end over end as the 0:36 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run plays when James grabs it while on top of a slab while doing a heroic pose with Paulo & Brenda Fonseca, Eric Kurtzke, Olivia Horvath, and Jessica Lopez-Barkl on his right and Nick Lopez, Rebecca & Nick Yaun, Renee Miller, Doug Yaun and Andrew Beach on his left doing their own heroic poses dressed in Christmas Garb on a white background the 0:36-end mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera pulls back to see James and everyone else on top of a slab with the words "The Last Of The Americans" on it before all while snow and jingling bells are heard and seen in the foreground. Cut to James in his office.)

TLOTA:
I'm James Faraci, The Last Of The Americans, and the views that I'm about to express are of my own and some of yours. It's December. I got my Santa hat on, and my gift list is budgeted at $100.00, which will stretch every last penny. There is "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" for 2025, AND... (James taps on the smartwatch screen and becomes James Faraci)

James Faraci:
The Top Five Moments of The Last Of The Americans from 2025.  So, let's start off with the top five moments of The Last Of The Americans in 2025. (Scene begins with a smartwatch screen and a finger as it taps the screen and the 1994 American Gladiators plays as the scene cuts to a hand as it taps an app on his phone as it opens a portal.)

(It cuts to James and the characters he’s played until it cut to his face and the credit of “James Faraci” is shown as it cuts to “The Last Of The Americans'” current iteration then slides away to different images of Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun, Nick Yaun and the characters they’ve played until it cut to their faces. The credits of “Paulo and Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca and Nick Yaun” are shown then slides away to different images of Doug Yaun and Crosslyn Castillo, Nick Lopez and Jessica Lopez-Barkl and the characters they’ve played, until it cuts to their faces.)

(After that, the credits “Doug Yaun and Crosslyn Castillo, Nick Lopez and Jessica Lopez-Barkl” are shown, as it then slides away to different images of Andrew Beach Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller and Olivia Horvath. Following this, the credits of “Andrew Beach, Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Olivia Horvath” are shown as the 0:00-0:21 mark of the theme song plays.)

(Everything becomes a swirl of reds, whites, and blues, as the credits “Produced by First Choice Entertainment Productions in association with Manic-Expression.com"; “Executive Producers: James Faraci, Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun, Nick Yaun, Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Andrew Beach & Olivia Horvath”; “Editing by Eric Kurtzke and James Faraci”; “Written and Directed by James Faraci” are shown, as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays.)

(We then see an image of James as he jumps through the portal and lands with half of his team on his right. The other half on his left is on a black background. Finally, the title “The Top five THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS reviews of 2025” is shown, Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays. Cut to the swirl of red, white, and blue, and a number appears in the center as James does a voiceover.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
Number Five

(Cut to A "Dial" With "Destiny" and  as James does a voiceover)

5) A "Dial" With "Destiny" and The Sound of "Thunderbolts"

James Faraci (V.O.):
Initially, the "Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny" review was meant to be the second review for July, and the "Thunderbolts" review was going to be the Tentpole review of August, with something else planned. Still, that plan got scrapped when I saw the movie review that is in the number one spot. But that didn't mean the impact wasn't avoided. I needed something to remind me to get over the bad points that just multiply daily. I liked having Jessica Lopez-Barkl and her husband, Nick Lopez, so much that I invited them to join the team to make up for the loss of Kyra Lee, who was leaving for greener pastures with only a month-to-month deal with an option for her to do cameos at my disposal. However, it did end with a good swansong for her time here. Of course, when the reviews came out, it was a step in the right direction for me to get out of the long-time funk that I've been in. Does it mean things are better? Not really, but they don't need to be for me to try and do better just by soldiering on and hoping for the best. Now let's get to The Last Of The Americans' Christmas Gift Guide.

(Cut to James and Team TLOTA in their Pajamas as they come rushing to the Christmas Tree and see different items they wanted and clean up as the camera turns to see the Wrapping Paper shrapnel "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" slide wipe to James in Cooking gear around the Kitchen in the Studio.)

TLOTA:
I've gotten into cooking more with Cast Iron as much as I've enjoyed cooking with Stainless Steel. Let's start with this Lodge Cast Iron Baking Pan. I have made some browned chicken and cooked a steak to a perfect medium well. It also does a great job with veggies, and the best part is that it multitasks. Bakes evenly in the oven and works as a cooking pan on the stovetop, with limits. But what works well is, of all things, the Lodge Cast Iron Casserole Pan; it works amazingly well as a cake pan, a casserole pan, and the best Prime Rib cooking device I have seen. Speaking of, (James pulls out the casserole pan to see the Prime Rib looking beautiful.) The Best part is how it makes a delicious Yorkshire Pudding. (James makes a Yorkshire Pudding) Doesn't that look great? Of course, one of the best things about Cast Iron is that it's excellent with induction. If you don't have a setup like this one? I suggest the XKitchen Portable Induction Cooktop it is great, despite what you may have heard from Uncle Roger, and I especially love the GasSaf Cast Iron Reversible Griddle that works great with it. The best part is that the griddle is reversible and great for all sorts of foods, especially Chicken. I love chicken, especially with Hot Sauce. And who came up with their own line of Hot Sauces? The Angry Video Game Nerd! That's right, and I got them on a preorder, so once they're more readily available, I will make the link the one that's fully ready for everyone. We have Angry Video Game Sauce, Cinemassacre's Monster Madness Hot Sauce, and Dumpin' Buffalo Sauce. Now I need someone to enjoy this with me. (Jessica Lopez-Barkl and Nick Lopez join James)

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
Let's do this!

Nick Lopez:
Bottoms up, it's just like "Hot Ones." (James opens the first sauce)

TLOTA:
We're starting with the first one, "Angry Video Game Sauce."  (The three try the sauce as they dunk it in some chicken and bite it.)

Nick Lopez:
A nice little bite to it.

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
There's something in it I can recognize. Is there beer in this sauce?

TLOTA:
It's a mix of Farmhouse Ale and Serrano Chillies, and it's pretty hot. Next up: Cinemassacre's Monster Madness.  (The three try the sauce as they dunk it in some chicken and bite it.)

Nick Lopez (As sweat starts to come off him):
They upped the heat. Can we check it out?

TLOTA:
A mix of Pumpkin and Habenero

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
So that's it, it's getting spicier and spicier with every bite! Please tell me that the worst is behind us.

TLOTA:
(James says "Whew!" as he swishes some yogurt and spits it out in the empty glass as he sweats more profusely) One More! The Dumping Buffalo! It has Scorpion Reaper, and the yogurt seems to cool the burn! (The three try the sauce as they dunk it in some chicken and bite it.)

Nick Lopez:
Ooh, that heat is there! (Nick Lopez gets up as the sound of his guts gurgling is heard)

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
I have to step away! (Jessica Lopez-Barkl gets up as the sound of her guts gurgling is heard)

TLOTA:
Something tells me I might be joining them right now! But first! (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci:
Here's Number Four on the best of The Last Of The Americans in 2025! (James runs out of the scene. Cut to a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to "Monstertober 2025" as James does a voiceover)

4) Monstertober 2025: The Triple Crest Trilogy

James Faraci (V.O.):
This was, for the first time, a passion project and a challenge I wanted to try. Mixing the outlandishly bizarre "Twin Peaks" with the center of the Cornetto Trilogy, "Hot Fuzz." While initially getting some positive feedback, most of the people involved were skeptical. But I chose to go with my gut, and I ended up getting more people interested in the project. I was glad to get some help from people I've known at my college to help with this series. Getting Joseph Poon, my Computer Graphics professor, to play the Clergyman in the review, and he actually suggested the name "Sun Jung Moon." Jamie Brooks, a counselor and social event director at the College, was okay with some things, like wearing an eyepatch, though she had a problem with calling me a N--i. But I was able to negotiate it down to the two times I needed. Thankfully, everything had worked out in my favor, and the end results speak for themselves. Though next year, I will try not to do something that labor-intensive again, for a while. Now let's get back and watch me sweat! (Cut to James as he sweats in some exercise equipment.)

TLOTA:
While it is clear that I have looked better, I am trying my best. Between my DDPYoga and everything else, I have been trying, but unfortunately, I have had setbacks. Fortunately, I have to help get my legs back the Sunny Health & Fitness Smart Row-N-Ride Glute & Leg Trainer. It works, obviously, the butt and the legs, it squats and tones and it allows me more physical endurance to keep moving. Speaking of movement, I find the Keppi Fitness Steppers for Exercise at Home Stair Stepper with Resistance Bands. It takes plenty of steps to keep me going, and with these resistance bands, I like working with these Blood Flow Restriction Bands for Arms Legs & Glutes Extra Wide 2" Straps for Occlusion Training Quick-Release Elastic Strap Ideal for Muscle Growth Without Heavy Weights. However, when you use these bands or any of the equipment and programs, you get a doctor to approve your routine. But while I sweat off the weight, let's head back to the top five in terms of the best of "The Last Of The Americans" from this year.

(Cut to everything becoming a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans," landing with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left, on a white background. The title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown. It cuts to the swirl of red, white, and blue, and a number appears in the center.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
Number Three

(Cut to "The "Dawn Of" the 12th" review as James does a voiceover)

3) "The "Dawn Of" The 12th"

James Faraci (V.O.):
With the 2025 "Superman" movie having been released just around the time of my 12th anniversary, I knew I wanted to look through one more movie, which unfortunately is worse than "Batman and Robin" and "Superman IV: The Quest For Peace", and had come out and still was hard to deal with as a DC Fan. Initially, this was meant to be a crossover with James Daniel Walsh and me; however, I had him for only one day, and he was in the midst of some positive changes and couldn't commit to it. Luckily, Antoni Matteo Garcia was able to come in to fix the mess, improve the intro, and do his best to help make the crossover happen, and he made so much of the review better. It is one of the best of this year. Now back to yours truly as he tries to deal with the kids' toys for the great-nieces and the gifts for the youngest niece left. (Cut to James as he has the toys and his youngest niece.)

TLOTA:
So, by the time this is out, unfortunately, I won't be able to get my great-nieces, and Vivian is only available for this because...?

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Kinsleigh is in school, and Alaina is getting registered for school for next fall. But I am going to help you out, and I could help you with gifts for kids my age and me. First off, for the newest member of our family, let's check out the Baby Einstein Ocean Explorers 4-in-1 Kickin Tunes Jellyfish Jamboree Music & Language Discovery Gym. It's perfect for the baby; it will be able to understand music, lights, and colors, and stimulate the baby when it's not eating or doing its diaper thing. Next up for Kinsleigh and Alaina are the SYNARRY Wooden Puzzles for Toddlers 1-3, 6XSET Puzzles for Toddlers 2-4 with Rack, Learning Alphabet Number Shape Animal Dinosaur Vehicle, Education Toddler Puzzles. It will help them learn numbers, letters, vehicles, and dinosaurs. Next up is the LeapFrog Spin and Sing Alphabet Zoo, to again teach the three of them about letters and animals. Now, about some of the stuff for me....

TLOTA:
Vivian, I have been keeping up with your "Influencers" and quite honestly, I am scared for you which is why I got the following books. Starting with Gnome Cave, it's about a man named Dante.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
I know some things, but I am too young to watch that movie. All I know is he says, "I'm not supposed to be here today!"

TLOTA:
Wrong Dante. In Gnome Cave, thirty years ago, THIS Dante and his friends dared to ride the notorious Gnome Cave, a theme park attraction known for its cheerful gnomes and infamous for its terrifying finale—a dragon so dreaded it led to the ride’s closure. When Dante’s own fear stopped his group from confronting the beast, their adventure ended prematurely, leaving him with a lifetime of regret. Determined to rewrite the past, Dante reunites his old friends to explore the now-abandoned park and finally finish the ride. But what has been lurking in the shadows for decades is far more sinister than childhood nightmares. Dante’s redemption may cost his friends more than they ever imagined. Growing up doesn't mean outgrowing the fear. Next up is... (The Blockbuster Buster teleports in.) I didn't even have to say your name and you arrive with the second in the Kassandra Killjoy books, Kassandra Killjoy Paranormal Private-Eye: The Caskets of Chaos. Would you be willing to tell Vivian and the audience about this book?

The Blockbuster Buster:
Gladly, (The Blockbuster Buster turns to the audience) in the second book in the tales of Kassandra Killjoy, a serial killer is on the loose in Obscure City. One whose victims hold the key to finding the Caskets of Chaos and ending the world. There is only one Paranormal Private-Eye with the skill and determination to put an end to this plot. Kassandra Killjoy is back, along with talkative feline familiar, Hime, and her trusty partner, Mad Chan, the new Sword Slinger. Together, they will face many dangers as they race against the clock to stop the killer from claiming another victim and prevent him from opening The Caskets of Chaos.

TLOTA:
Thanks, hopefully this will get more people like Vivian to read more. (Vivian takes the book)

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Uncle Jimmy, I love you, but you're becoming the dorky member of the family.

Blockbuster Buster:
Well, do you still like Video Games?

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Yeah (The Blockbuster Buster and Vivian walk away)

TLOTA:
XBOX is in the lobby, and I will have some games set for the end of the guide. (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci.)

James Faraci:
When we come back, The Last Of The Americans is about to cross state lines, but is still on the county border. But first let's check out...

Number Two

(Cut to the reviews of "Family Feud," "Three Men and A Baby," &
The Top Ten Episodes of TV Trash" as James does a voiceover)

2) My Review of Family Feud, The Top Ten Episodes of TV Trash, & My Review of Three Men and A Baby

James Faraci (V.O.):
The Family Feud review was the most researched review I've ever done. I definitely thank The Game Show Reviewer and Connor Higgins for their videos on Family Feud, and as for the brief skits of me at my younger and regrettably dumber self. Mistaking Richard Dawson for James Callahan is something I couldn't believe I did! But let's face it, if you saw Richard Dawson in 1994 and James Callahan at that same time, it would've been as big a mistake that I have never forgiven myself for. But the numbers showed how many people loved this review, and earlier this year, I actually debuted on a local version of Family Feud, as supported by the College I have been a part of. As a contestant, I did great, anchoring my team and having a lot of fun. Now onto the "Top Ten episodes of TV Trash." It was around September, fifteen years ago, that I discovered TV Trash and Chris Lee Moore, AKA "Rowdy." Since then, I have checked out all of his work, and if you haven't, the top ten is a great starting point to put you on the path to finding this great character. Speaking of greatness, I always wanted to talk about (Cut to a still of Steve Guttenberg as a heavenly light shines and an organ plays heavenly music, and the words “THE GREATNESS OF GUTTENBERG!” are sung by Team TLOTA. Cut to the review of "Three Men and A Baby" as James does a voiceover.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
When the Los Angeles Fires beautifully decimated California, a reporter came upon someone helping move cars for first responders to handle the fire as best they could. The fact that no one knew it was Steve Guttenberg hurt, since people in my industry seemed to think he was bland or uninteresting. What I would like to do is get two addresses: Steve's to thank him for his good deeds, and a particular Chicago place, so I can send Steve over just to torment said company with his movies. But I digress, knowing that a celebrity was on the ground helping first responders, shows (Cut to a still of Steve Guttenberg as a heavenly light shines and an organ plays heavenly music, and the words “THE GREATNESS OF GUTTENBERG!” are sung by Team TLOTA. Cut to James standing on a small set of theater seats.)

TLOTA:
Right now, I am in the audience section of a small theater. This theater was the last to host the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival award-winning play "Carburetor: A Ghost Sonata," in which I was part of the cast. But if I were to step outside, I would find... (James steps outside) Farmland! Verdent, organic and fresh! (Cut to footage of the Performances shown at the Farm Arts Collective, including "Carburetor: A Ghost Sonata," as James does a voiceover.)

TLOTA (V.O.):
This is the Farm Arts Collective in Damascus, PA, on the Willow Wisp Organic Farms, mixing live theater performances with locally grown vegetables for people to enjoy. (Cut to James as he meets with Tannis Kowalchuk in her office at Farm Arts Collective.) Farm Arts Collective respectfully resides on the ancestral land of the Munsee Lenape First Nation People. I sat down with the Artistic Director, Tannis Kowalchuk, to talk about Farm Arts as a whole.

Tannis Kowalchuk:
The Farm Arts Collective was founded in 2019, with a performance piece called "Shakespeare On The Farm." I was looking to bridge my passions for farming and theatre, and use both disciplines to create a Creative and healthy community

TLOTA:
And how long did it take for the Collective to be successful in its mission statement

Tannis Kowalchuk:
We've been a success from Day One. People came when we offered workshops in Farming, Art, Food, and Ecology. They love the shows, and we sell out "Dream on the farm" (our big summer play), and when we have other performances like "Lucy Joseph" or "Decompositions" [starts to laugh], which is me dueting with a pile of compost. (Both James and Tannis laugh and then get composed) All the shows we do here are well attended and popular. (Cut to other shows done on the Farm Arts Collective and the improvements to the collective as Tannis and James continue their interview)

Tannis Kowalchuk (Audio only):
While we take January and February off, for obvious reasons, we do have shows and workshops in March until December. We've built a new Solar-Powered barn, we operate out of the theatre, and we have a teaching space that looks out into the farm. We're ADA accessible, Warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and we're very welcoming.

TLOTA (Audio only):
So I take it you have an active part in the community

Tannis Kowalchuk (Audio only):
Oh, absolutely, we make cool performances with people who live here. We again talk about environmentalism, climate change, and human rights in our shows, and we make exceptional art that is authentic, collaborative, and represents the people who make these plays. The doors are always open to artists, volunteers, and participants. Through our farm education program, we offer workshops people want, like "How to make Sauerkraut" or workshops on Soil health and seed saving (Cut to Tannis and James in her office).

Tannis Kowalchuk:
These are essential items for a lot of the folks here.

TLOTA:
Sounds like you enjoy your job here.

Tannis Kowalchuk:
It doesn't feel like a job or work here. I love what I do here. I love farming and theatre. I know I'm a lucky person. Even though it is many hours, especially in the summertime, I love putting in the many hours of work in a week because I love it here.

TLOTA:
So this place is not going away.

Tannis Kowalchuk:
No, we're going to be around for a long time. (Cut to James and Tannis in the kitchen of the Farm Arts Collective)

TLOTA (V.O.):
And I couldn't leave without tasting some of the Collective's tasty treats. (James enjoys a soup that was made on the farm)

TLOTA:
That is a tasty soup! (Tannis and James laugh as they enjoy the soup of the Farm Arts Collective. Cut to James in his office.)

TLOTA:
I would like to thank Tannis Kowalchuk for sitting down and allowing me to conduct an interview. You can check out more about the Farm Arts Collective at farmartscollective.org.  And before I conclude the gift guide. (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci.)

James Faraci:
Let's check out... (Scene cuts to a smartwatch screen and a finger as it taps the screen, and the 1994 American Gladiators plays as the scene cuts to a hand as it taps an app on his phone, as it opens a portal.)

The credits of “Paulo and Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca and Nick Yaun” are shown, then slide away to different images of Doug Yaun and Crosslyn Castillo, Nick Lopez and Jessica Lopez-Barkl, and the characters they’ve played, until it cuts to their faces.)

(After that, the credits “Doug Yaun and Crosslyn Castillo, Nick Lopez and Jessica Lopez-Barkl” are shown, as it then slides away to different images of Andrew Beach, Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, and Olivia Horvath.

Finally, the title “THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS” is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays. Cut to the swirl of red, white, and blue, and a number appears in the center as James does a voiceover.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
The number one "The Last Of The Americans" review is...

(Cut to the 2025 "Superman" review as James does a voiceover)

1) The 2025 Superman movie

James Faraci (V.O.):
While I had planned to review this movie later on, I saw the film and decided to throw this in at the last minute. So it was ALL hands on deck to get it done quickly because I was moving into another new studio, and I needed to get it in where I was going to put the Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny and Thunderbolts reviews back-to-back as the last reviews done in the old building. Now I had to add one more and be done in four days, so the pressure was ON! I busted my hand, Andrew Beach suffered a whopper of a concussion and had to be out of work until September, per my suggestion to take time off to heal. As for the fight between The Last Of The Americans and Lex Luthor, many were surprised to see James get so angry and violent. But this is twelve years of being frustrated between the life he almost had not panning out, and that of the Anti-Heroes that everyone thinks are what we are supposed to be like! That the cult of "The Boys" and their Icons of "Homelander" & "Billy Butcher" of people thinking that they are the ones we should aspire to be like, and someone as earnest and full of humanity and heart is considered a pussy in their minds. While James Gunn did a FANTASTICALLY AWESOME job at making people eat their words when it came to Superman. This movie was the one fans had been waiting years for, and when it showcased Superman's greatness as a character, it proved that DC was back in the fight as a Comic-Book movie-making powerhouse. My review showed how it can be done. (Cut to movies released during the year as James does a voiceover.)

TLOTA (V.O.):
And now for the movies and the one series to buy this year:

At Number five, we have "Sinners," which was the first review of "Monstertober" of this year. Having checked it out before then, I was thoroughly engaged with how the story flowed and how much it reminded me of "From Dusk 'Till Dawn". Michael B. Jordan shines as twin brothers living in Depression-era Mississippi after fighting in the war, trying to make an honest living, when Vampires arrive to ruin the club's opening night. It's up to the remaining staff and management who haven't been turned to fight off Remmick and his ever-growing clan of vampires and save their club.

At Number four, we have "Novacaine." Jack Quaid, the son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, and was in the "Hunger Games" and is in "The Boys," plays Nathan Cain, a man who can not feel any pain and works at a bank when he finds himself in the center of a bank heist set up by a woman he thinks he likes and goes on the hunt for those who kidnapped the woman. I like this because Jack shows he can hold the audience's attention and be both comedic and a badass without being a lapdog for "Billy Butcher" in "The Boys." Check it out.

At Number three, we have "Good Boy." Indy, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, has to watch as his master, named Todd, played by Shane Jenson, deteriorates from a Chronic Lung Infection. This poor pup gets put through the wringer as Todd mentally and physically loses what he has left, and is facing off with a shadow demon that wants Todd. Can Indy save his master from deteriorating? You'll have to watch to find out.

At Number two, we have "Superman."  David Corenswet and the cast of this movie give a fantastic performance that helps James Gunn and the DCU finally become a contender to the long-standing, what felt like an unstoppable juggernaut, the MCU. I went into spoiler-filled detail in my review I did earlier this year and if you haven't seen it, what are you doing checking this out? Watch it! It's that damned fun and good.

Now onto OR-HAC for the Number one pick. (Cut to "Blake's 7" series 2 as OR-HAC does a voiceover.)

OR-HAC (Audio only):
With sales of the first series proving successful, the BBC has relented and will bring Series 2 of "Blake's 7" to the North American Region. This season continues the tale of Roj Blake and his fight to end the Federation once and for all. Though this adventure is much darker, and some characters we grew to enjoy in the first season change in one way or another, we see the crew of The Liberator continue to fight for freedom for the Galaxy. The Blu-Ray contains multiple extras, including a tribute to Jacqueline Pearce, the actress who played the series' main antagonist, Servalain. Purchase this series to see the continuation and see the next chapter for Blake, Avon, Vila, Cally, and me in my original form and name of the adventure. (Cut to James, Vivian, and The Blockbuster Buster in the lobby.)

TLOTA:
So Viv, how are you and ERod doing?

The Blockbuster Buster:
Your niece is beating me at Minecraft, Among Us, Star Wars Outlaws, and has the highest score in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, even in Arcade classics you put into the console.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Well, Uncle Jimmy and I play these games a lot. Even in "Dragon's Lair."

The Blockbuster Buster:
Okay, makes sense!

TLOTA:
Well, we can't stick around playing; we've got the celebration to get ready for.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
You're doing a lot better than Mr. Narducci. By this point, he would be pouting like Kingleigh and Alaina and crying like them.

TLOTA:
Uh, ERod, can you keep an eye on Vivian while I wrap it up?

The Blockbuster Buster:
No problem. (Cut to James as he walks into the studio)

TLOTA:
Well, 2025 is almost over, but that doesn't mean I'm done yet. Come back December 21st to see what a year for The Last Of The Americans is like!. Until then, I'm James Faraci The Last Of The Americans, wishing everyone Happy Holidays! (The Scene ends with James and the team waving at the camera, then fades to black. Scene changes to James looking out on the roof of the studio as Rowdy, Jessica Lopez-Barkl, and Nick Lopez walk up and join James as 7:12-8:32 from "Black and Blue" from "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" soundtrack plays.)

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
Doesn't the cold bother you?

TLOTA:
It's a reminder of...

Nick Lopez:
Where are you now?

TLOTA:
Yeah, trapped in winter. Waiting for the thaw to warm everything and bring back any sign of hope.

Rowdy:
Is that why you spend some time out here?

TLOTA:
To remember what had happened five years ago. It was lockdown Christmas, and I went to sleep on my couch, wanting to wake up and have the world be back to normal. I woke up on the Winter Solstice, and I saw someone. When I walked out, that person was gone, and I never saw whoever it was again. Since then, I've felt like I've been buried in the snow.

Jessica Lopez-Barkl:
James, Snow melts, Spring does come, and when it does, you will be ready to grow, and life will be there for you.

Nick Lopez:
She's right, and we are going to be there to help you get out there more.

Rowdy:
We can get there in 2026.

TLOTA:
Maybe! Let's get inside, I'm freezing. (The Three walk back in as it fades to black.)

The Last Of The Americans' Christmas Gift Guide 2024/ Top Five moments of The Last Of The Americans of 2024

(Scene begins with a finger tap on a smartwatch as the 1994 American Gladiators plays. The scene cuts to James jumping down a cliff from the 0:00-0:03 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators' original run. The 0:04 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators shows James Faraci landing in Santa's sleigh and entirely morphing into James Faraci The Last Of The Americans Christmas mode with his long sleeve button-up Shirt with Christmas Trees on it, Blue cargo Jeans, and Black Work boots until 0:07 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run as scene cuts to James and Santa riding with the 12th Doctor and Clara at the 0:13 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run. 0:14-0:17 show Rebecca Yaun and Nick Yaun as the two run after the Grinch before cutting to Doug Yaun baking cookies before cutting to the 0:17-0:19 mark as it shows Paulo & Brenda Fonseca popping in A Muppets Christmas Special on a player before cutting to the 0:20-0:28 mark as we see Eric Kurtzke, Andrew Beach and Olivia Horvath decorating as it cuts to the doors outside of James' space and time machine as the 0:28 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators shows when James stands on top of his Time and Space device and tosses a candy cane then cuts over to multiple clips from the past ten years of "The Last Of The Americans" Christmas reviews/top 12s as the Candy Cane flips end over end as the 0:36 mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run plays when James grabs it while on top of a slab while doing a heroic pose with Paulo & Brenda Fonseca, Eric Kurtzke, Olivia Horvath on his right and Rebecca & Nick Yaun, Renee Miller, Doug Yaun and Andrew Beach  on his left doing their own heroic poses dressed in Christmas Garb on a white background the 0:36-end mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera pulls back to see James and everyone else on top of a slab with the words "The Last Of The Americans" on it before all while snow and jingling bells are heard and seen in the foreground. Cut to James in his office)

TLOTA:
I'm James Faraci, The Last Of The Americans, and the views that I'm about to express are of my own and some of yours. It's December. I got my Santa hat on, and my list of gifts is budgeted at $100.00, which will stretch every last penny. The is "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" for 2024 AND (James taps on the smartwatch screen and becomes James Faraci)

James Faraci:
The Top Five Moments of The Last Of The Americans from 2024.  So, let's start off with the top five moments of The Last Of The Americans in 2024.

(Scene cuts to a finger taps on a smartwatch as the 1994 American Gladiators plays as the scene cuts as it taps the app as it opens a portal, and it cuts to different images of James as the characters he's played until it cut to his face and the credit of "James Faraci" is shown as it cuts to "The Last Of The Americans'" current iteration then slides away to different images of Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun and Nick Yaun as the characters they've played until it cut to their faces and the credits of "Paulo and Brenda Fonseca & Rebecca and Nick Yaun" is shown as it then slides away to different images of Doug Yaun and Andrew Beach as the characters they've played until it cut to their faces and the credits of "Doug Yaun and Andrew Beach" is shown as it then slides away to different images of Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller and Olivia Horvath and the credits of "Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Olivia Horvath" is shown as the 0:00-0:21 mark of the theme song plays. Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the credits "Produced by First Choice Productions. Edited by Eric Kurtzke and Paulo Fonseca. Written and Directed by James Faraci" as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays and the words "Top Five" on the top of "The Last Of The Americans" and on the bottom those words are "Of 2024" as it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as James does a voiceover)

James Faraci (V.O.):
Number Five
(Cut to "A "Web" of convolution as James does a voiceover)

5) A "Web" of convolution!

James Faraci (V.O.):
This was possibly the most challenging review because throughout most of the time, I was held up in a harness, and I had to be dropped and raised several times; I blew out my voice from screaming at Olivia, who, by the way, liked how she had to be dressed like Madame Web (Or Mistress Net for the sake of the review). I also had to introduce an addition after so much subtraction; I will get into it later. Also, when I had Chris over while working on something at the number three spot. I also found the movie better than people had made it out to be. I enjoyed the review, especially when I was doing the technicals. Now let's get started with... (Morphing sound)

TLOTA (V.O.):
The Last Of The Americans' Christmas Guide for 2024 (Cut to James and Team TLOTA in their Pajamas as they come rushing to the Christmas Tree and see different items they wanted and clean up as the camera turns to see the Wrapping Paper shrapnel "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" slide wipe to James in Cooking gear around the Kitchen in the Studio.)

TLOTA:
As it has been over the past few years, all these gifts will be at least a hundred dollars. Starting with our kitchen gear for the year, we begin with something that will help keep the oven clean, using less oven cleaning cycle and some funky cleaners that leave a residue. These oven liners are great for keeping the bottom of your ovens clean, and I like how easy they are to clean. They also are fine for grill work, and baking liners for when you're out of parchment and aluminum foil. Get these to help you keep that oven cleaner than before. Next up is for those who want Asian cooking without getting those take-out prices. We go to something I had recorded a few weeks ago with Uncle Roger. (The scene cuts back to the Kitchen a few weeks ago when James and Uncle Roger.)

Uncle Roger:
Okay, cousin James, I will show you how to make Pad Thai like Uncle Roger makes it with a Wok. You have a perfect wok, so let's get to cooking!

TLOTA (V.O.):
This wok is perfect for someone like me who likes to cook. The wok heats evenly, so the cooking has plenty of work flavor, and this Pad Thai is so well-balanced that it is worth the taste. At this exact moment, I decided to treat Uncle Roger to some of my favorite dishes, including my famous Meatza, as I pulled out my 12-inch cast iron dual-handled skillet. This skillet can also be used for more than Meatza. It is excellent for roasting chicken, prime ribs, and slow-cooking pork shoulder. Uncle Roger liked it and almost gave me Uncle status. (The Scene cuts to the Kitchen as it is now)

TLOTA:
And for those throwing a party like some of us are, even though there's no reason to throw parties anymore, I especially like the charcuterie boards with more than just meat and cheeses. I like this board setup for the organizational aspects; behold, the Farberware Build-a-Board Cutting Board with Compartments and Clear Locking Lid. It's great for traveling to get-togethers and those who like to keep their fruits, meats, cheeses, veggies, sweets, and dips organized. After cleaning up, it's excellent as a mise-en-place for cooking different soups, stews, and braised dishes.

TLOTA:
To end this segment, I give you the AeroPress Clear Coffee Press. It's gravity-fed into the cup below. And what works excellently about this is that there is no bitterness when I make my cocoa or teas. It's also great for those who are more ecologically conscious. All the links in each segment are open. While I enjoy this, let's go back to James and his top five (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci:
Okay, that was weird. Anyway, Number Four (Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to The Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog review as James does a voiceover)

4)The Lost Review: Professor Monstrous' Sing-Along YouTube Video

James Faraci (V.O.):
This is my "Pink Floyd's The Wall" review as done by those Chicago Fegulahs. It was doomed from the get go. I had started pre-production (meaning I had an idea, and that was it.) in 2019; in November of that year, I put that idea on the back burner until 2020. Thankfully, my dad, god rest his soul, told me to be ready by February of that year until I heard of COVID-19 and decided to shelve it until the pandemic ended. However, by the time the pandemic did end, I had a workload that would've knocked out so many others. But I got some work with Taylor and Johnny Berchtold after getting my current glasses. I had done some work with Alex DeCourville before the fallout from my review of "Science Boy's High School Reunion." Then that's when things for this review really went off the rails as I suffered injury after injury during the filming, and then relationships were damaged beyond repair. Primarily the professional relationship between myself and those from "Life As A Mermaid" (I now wish I had never heard of that show) and the results of the final product were good, hearing how bad everyone thought the review was is proof positive that the best days are over and any attempt to make more things like this happen will be met with ridicule and scorn by my fellow reviewers and that this remains the one review I will think of and think of how things fell apart for me.
(Morphing sound)

TLOTA (V.O.):
Thanks, James; I'll take over here. (Cut to James in his office.)

TLOTA:
If you're wondering what it is I am sitting this way, it's because of the device that I am using to get my steps in. The Sunny Health & Fitness Mini Steppers for Exercise at Home, Stair Step Workout Machine. Even while watching movies and reviewing them this year, I got all my steps in. I use the resistance bands to work on my arms when I am not on screen. It is also great when it comes to keeping the body moving at times when it is stationary. Of course, to help me during my DDPYoga program, I am interested in doing something to help me build my strength and hold my frame up better; The CAP Barbell Adjustable Weighted Vest. I wear this to help strengthen the body especially when I take a couple of hours off and I decide to walk and believe me a walk is keeping me moving. (Cut to James and his team in the Gym.)

TLOTA:
We're going to wait for some special guests to come in, and while that happens, the team and I are going to do our DDPYoga on the DDP Yoga Now as long as you have a subscription on the app. (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci:
For now, here's the number three moment of The Last Of The Americans in 2024
(Cut to everything becoming a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background. The title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown. It cuts to the swirl of red, white, and blue, and a number appears in the center.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
Number Three
(Cut to The Iron Claw crossover as James does a voiceover)

3) The Iron Claw crossover

James Faraci (V.O.):
Working on this review of the wrestling family biopic with Rowdy, AKA Chris Lee Moore, AAKA Robert "The Wrestling Mark" Hayden. This was meant to be about the family destroying itself partly due to wrestling and primarily because of the factual inaccuracies of the movie. I remember watching documentaries on World Class Championship Wrestling, including the "Dark Side Of The Ring" episode. When we sat down to watch the movie for the review, we knew certain things were inaccurate. Still, for them to write Chris Von Erich out of the film because it would've been too much for the movie's audience, there's a problem with that logic; the audience you'll get to know about wrestling, especially the Von Erich legacy. Getting this review done was easy since I had just finished doing a lot of the work for the Anti-AI storyline, the lost man, and the never healing heart of a romance that ended that broke "The Last Of The Americans" to the point where he has nothing left but reviewing all other avenues are permanently closed storyline" which is bleeding into real life sadly. As of this post, I am a trillionth of a fraction of a step away from seeing everything fall permanently into the Quantum Realm and never escaping. If I still need to clarify, 2024 has become the worst point in my career and personal life. But now, let's get back to the gift guide.
(A Morphing sound is heard as it cuts to James in the lobby with his great nieces and niece Vivian.)

TLOTA:
Judging by the noises I hear, my niece and my great-nieces are here and having fun. Kinsleigh and Alaina are enjoying a little painting excursion with the Crayola Color Wonder Paintbrush Pens & Paper. What makes this great is that the color stays on the paper and doesn't wind up on the walls and floor! Ah! Alaina, no tasting that; it tastes yucky. Bleh! (Alaina gives James her tough girl face, and James does the same thing. Then, James gives Alaina a kiss on her forehead and a hug as he picks her up, and Kinsleigh grabs one of James' hands.) We're moving over to their Aunt Vivian as she has set up something she and these two little goober nickels can enjoy. (Cut to Vivian as she has just finished setting up the device.) Is it ready?

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Yep, will this work?

TLOTA:
Oh, it will keep them entertained; behold this toy. This special toy is a projector that shows the stars and the moon in all their glory. What also makes this fun is that if you need a little help, your kid gets some sleep, lets this play, and all they have to do is lie down. Then, not long enough, they will be out until the morning. Speaking of stars, the moon, and outer space, if you want to get the kiddies to understand where we are, check out My First Book of Planets: All About the Solar System for Kids. Definitely suitable for Alaina and Kinsleigh.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Are you forgetting something? Look, I know and have heard about how you tossed Mr. Narducci on his butt because he didn't keep his word. So what do you have for me?

TLOTA:
Be patient; I am waiting for one thing before we enter the games for you.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Okay. So what are you waiting for, something to fall from the sky. (Lightning strikes as something lands in James' hand) What was that? (Cut to James as he holds a book for Vivian and a device for him.)

TLOTA:
Let's get this started! (James plugs the device in as it connects to ERod the Blockbuster Buster at his current location.)

ERod:
Hey James, and I take that. Is the little girl next to you Vivian? (Cut to James and Vivian)

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Looks like the video is excellent. (Cut to Erod the Blockbuster Buster)

ERod:
Well, that's because this is a live feed between us. And I take that my book has arrived for Vivian. (Cut to James and Vivian)

TLOTA:
Indeed, it is Kassandra Killjoy Paranormal Private Eye. Erod, could you convince people to purchase this masterpiece, especially those who have not heard of it? (Cut to ERod the Blockbuster Buster.)

ERod:
Glad to do so. (Cut to still images used in the opening of most of the videos promoting the book as ERod does a voiceover)

ERod (V.O.):
Set in Obscure City, Kassandra Killjoy, A Private Investigative witch, is the only source in the darkest places to help innocent people with their problems. One girl, in particular, requires Kassandra, and hopefully, Kassandra can get some help from the mythical hero known as "The Swordsman."If you like a badass, smart female characters, supernatural mysteries, classic monsters, and ridiculous action sequences involving magic and mayhem. Then this is most definitely the perfect gift for any holiday season. (Cut to James and Vivian)

TLOTA: Thanks for stopping by and promoting your book. (Cut to Erod the Blockbuster Buster)

ERod: No problem, Vivian. Enjoy the book your uncle got for you. He really does love you. Until next time, I'm ERod, and I'm The Blockbuster Buster! (The screen shuts off. Cut to James and Vivian.)

TLOTA: Hope you enjoy the book, kiddo! I have some games set up when you're ready.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
Cool! (Cut to James and Vivian as the two join Doug and his son as they play a game of Chess until both reach a draw. Cut to James, Vivian, Paulo, and Brenda Fonseca as they play a game of KerPlunk. Cut to James, Vivian, Rebecca, and Nicholas Yaun play The Game Of Life as James sees where his life is now and looks sad, knowing things are not suitable for him. Cut to everyone as they play Trivial Pursuit, and Vivian wins all the games. Cut to James as he sits in his office.)

TLOTA:
When I return, I will follow up on a few pieces I did a few years back. For now... (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci:
It's time for me to get to work again! Number two (Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to The Top Ten Reasons why the Prequels are better than the Disney Star Wars Trilogy" as James does a voiceover)

2)  The Top ten reasons why The Star Wars Prequels are better than the Disney Star Wars movies

James Faraci (V.O.):
I had waited until the Disney Star Wars movies had played themselves out. And after a few tries, I finally got the nerve to talk about why after looking with hindsight, sans nostalgia. I needed time to accept the Disney Star Wars Trilogy. After watching both the prequels and the Disney trilogy, what went wrong? After watching the prequels, I realized they were more cohesive in much of the story, including the timing. Eventually, I had enough evidence to figure out how and why the Prequels were the necessary evil of the Star Wars Franchise. It was not only a very exhausting look into everything that Star Wars became after 1983 but also the most polarizing thing I ever did, knowing I would be getting roasted over a volcano for what I had to say. Thankfully, some people defended my thoughts while others defended what the mouse-eared Reichstaff had done. This was one of the few highlights of my year. (Cut to James as he stands on the stage on Monday, December 2, 2024)

TLOTA:
A couple of years ago, I walked upon this stage to discuss my college major, the media arts. Earlier this year, the people in charge of the SUNY Campuses decided that the theatrical and media arts had been shut down because it wasn't making money. When I graduate next May from SUNY Sullivan, the Media Arts and the Theatrical Arts department will be shut down, possibly for good. Movie makers, actors, and other talented people in the entertainment business who want to start in the SUNY College department will be better off looking elsewhere. (Cut to "Carburetor: A Ghost Sonata" clips as James does a voiceover.)

TLOTA (V.O.):

And that is a shame because not only will there not be anything to help these creative talents hone their crafts. Though talking with Jessica Lopez-Barkl, she hopes to convince the heads of SUNY to reconsider shutting down the programs. Until then, she will use the Performance Theater Club to keep the SUNY Sullivan Theater program going. And just so everyone knows, this is me with the beard that makes me look like my dad playing a character known as "The Mechanic" in the work-in-progress play called "Carburetor: A Ghost Sonata" which is based on Jessica Lopez-Barkl's life as a daughter with Autism, and eventually becoming a wife and a mother to a daughter with Autism while dealing with her father's passing. I actually enjoyed the process of this show, even at the one time when we performed for five people. The aspect that drove me to the show was the parent/child dynamic, and after everything that I went through in 2019 and 2020, this was therapeutic and, for me, part of the healing from what I went through. That is part of the joy of the arts. It can help us understand ourselves in a way that psychology, sports, and other departments don't understand. (Cut to James outside the Liberty Theater in Liberty, NY.)

TLOTA (V.O.):
And now we go to the Liberty Theater where, in 2021, construction crews were working to get the marquee back up and lit for a new generation of filmgoers and, for me, a hope that could help me watch more current movies without having to travel a couple of hours just to see a movie. However, there have been delays. I also discovered that while the building is open and opened for business earlier this year, it's in part being used as a satellite studio for local radio stations under the Bold Gold Media Group banner. While that is great for my neck of the woods, I wonder if this movie theater will ever open as a movie theater, and from what I heard, if and when it does open, it will most likely be a single-feature movie theater. This limits the number of movies I will see if and when the movie theater does open in my hometown.
Not exactly how I wanted to end this, so let's move onto... (Scene begins with a smartwatch screen and a finger as it taps the screen and the 1994 American Gladiators plays as the scene cuts to a hand as it taps an app on his phone as it opens a portal, and it cuts to James and the characters he’s played until it cut to his face and the credit of “James Faraci” is shown as it cuts to “The Last Of The Americans'” current iteration then slides away to different images of Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun, Nick Yaun and Doug Yaun and the characters they’ve played until it cut to their faces and the credits of “Paulo and Brenda Fonseca & Doug Yaun, Rebecca and Nick Yaun” is shown as it then slides away to different images of Andrew Beach Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller and Olivia Horvath and the credits of “Andrew Beach, Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Olivia Horvath” is shown as the 0:00-0:21 mark of the theme song plays. Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the credits “Produced by First Choice Productions" “Executive Producers: James Faraci, Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun, Nick Yaun, Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Andrew Beach & Olivia Horvath” “Editing by Eric Kurtzke and James Faraci” “Written and Directed by James Faraci” are shown as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an image of James as he jumps through the portal and lands with half of his team on his right. The other half on his left is on a black background, and the title “THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS” is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays. The red, white, and blue swirl and a number appear in the center as James does a voiceover.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
The Number one moment of The Last Of The Americans of 2024

(Cut to the 2024 "Civil War" movie review  and the Kevin Smith Reviews as James does a voiceover.)

James Faraci (V.O.):
The moment I saw the 2024 movie Civil War, I saw it as a parable similar to "The Day After. " Just like my friend Rowdy, who eight years ago talked about "The Day After," I found "Civil War" on the same level. This movie did what it was supposed to: ask questions on how to avoid such a fate and try to tell us how we treat our news and reporters. We should watch this movie now, especially after everything that happened in November; we should expect this sort of future to start sometime in 2025. Now, onto the Kevin Smith movie review marathon; while I admit there may have been some good to come out of it when it came to my review of "Dogma," as it may have helped lay the groundwork for the current events for the rights of the movie as it appears that Kevin Smith and new owners of the rights to the movie have got plans to re-release it on the physical media market as well as finally putting it out on the digital market sometime soon, the downside is how it ended a lot of storylines I had planned, and how it ended the best storyline I would have had occurred. In 2018, I started writing what would've been the best idea that will never come to fruition, "The Last Of The Americans: The Movie." I discussed the movie's plot in my Top Ten Mistakes list last year, so there's no reason to go over it. However, the original idea for the storyline that would lead me through this year was that I took a long overdue vacation, and the problem was that some force drove Alex and me apart. I would go on a journey of self-discovery as Alex would learn how to harness her abilities even further. I had hoped that the end of the storyline would end on a high note as James and Alex would spill that they were engaged. The reality hit as tensions between Alex and Me as I did my best to be nice to her. However, when she announced her engagement, I told Alex that the end of the storyline would change. Primarily, the relationship would fail as Alex would end the relationship to stay with the pod, and James' heartbreak would scar him forever. However, I needed something to fill in the other storyline. I thank the SAG-AFTRA/WGA strike against AI. As a writer, I cannot support AI because it can't give characters depth, progress the story to a logical closure point, and draw people in for more than the initial novelty of AI doing all the work. So, when I came up with the AI Doppelganger to fill in, it became the catalyst to the second part of the storyline as I chose to do what I felt was right and take the consequences of my actions. That, of course, realizing that I had sealed the fate I tried to stop in 2019, that at the end of everything, all I would know is solitude. I'll let the other half explain after this mess is over. (Cut to James Faraci The Last Of The Americans, in his office)

TLOTA:
Now, let's move on to this year's top five personal buying suggestions. Starting off with... (Cut to images of certain products that James will talk about as James does a voiceover.)

TLOTA (V.O.):
Number 5)  The 2024 Civil War movie. I talked about that in June of 2024, and if you're not going to watch it now, then it is too late.

Number 4) The Guide to The Orville. Having talked about how much I love the series by Seth MacFarland, it is clear how quickly the series became a phenomenon in its own right, with people wanting a fourth season, but for now, this comprehensive guide written by The Orville writer Andre Bormanis that would show fans more about the ship and her crew.

Number 3) Kassandra Killjoy Paranormal Private Eye. Written by ERod The Blockbuster Buster, this is the start of a new series of books starring the main character on the lookout for the swordsman and a teenage girl's father in a city that would give Gotham nightmares.

Number 2)Deadpool & Wolverine. I will get into this more in the first few months of 2025, but this was something we needed as longtime Marvel Movie fans, and this gave the MCU another success that it desperately needs as it now faces James Gunn and his answer to what they're doing at DC. (Cut to James in his office.)

TLOTA:
And now for the Number one buying suggestion? Well ORAC? Take it away! (Cut to clips of Series One of "Blake's 7"  and accompanied by the theme song from "Blake's 7" as ORAC does a voiceover.)

ORAC (V.O.):
Created by Terry Nation, the person who came up with "The Daleks" for "Doctor Who," "Blake's 7" starred Gareth Thomas as Roj Blake, a dissident of the Federation Government who had been reconditioned and tormented for what he believed, Blake is eventually arrested and found guilty of one crime he did not commit. While en route to Cygnus Alpha, a prison colony planet of the Federation, a ship of unknown origin is discovered. Joined by fellow criminals Kerr Avon, Olan Gan, Jenna Stannis, and Vila Restal, they take the spaceship "The Liberator" and its onboard computerized system known as "Zen." Eventually, an Auron outcast named Cally joins this group and begins their plan to liberate planetary systems from the grasp of the Federation. On their tail are Commander Servalan and her associate, who operates outside Federation Law by the name of Travis, who has a personal grudge against Roj Blake. "Blake's 7"'s first series is available on Blu-Ray in the United States for the first time. It is considered a sister series to the Classic "Doctor Who," and considering what would have happened if the BBC had been lenient and allowed certain things to happen in the second series (based on the sales of the first series Blu-Ray in the United States if the sales are considered favorable will most likely be available in the near future as well as the other two series.) would've been a spin-off of the previously mentioned Classic "Doctor Who." Which James will talk about next year. If you are a fan of classic British Science Fiction akin to the classic "Doctor Who" or other Science Fiction series such as "Red Dwarf,""Firefly," "Babylon 5," "Farscape,""Hyperdrive,""Aeon Flux," and others, including several "Star Trek" series during the series "Next Generation" era, then A purchase of the first series on Blu-Ray is suggested, otherwise gain a Britbox TV online streaming service subscription for the full series of "Blake's 7" or a BBC Sci-Fi connection via Amazon Prime. (Cut to James in his office.)

TLOTA:
Thank you, ORAC! Now, you're probably wondering why that is Number One and not "Deadpool and Wolverine," the answer is simple. The BBC discovered ORAC was working for this series, and long story short.

ORAC (Audio only):
Too Late.

TLOTA:
Funny ORAC, I now have to rename and redesign ORAC and the space-time device, and here is the rub: I want to keep the name sounding like ORAC while respelling the name. If you have an idea for redesigning the space-time machine and redesigning ORAC and ORAC's respelling, let me know in the comment section below. Until December 21st, for the top ten best behind-the-scenes stories from "The Last Of The Americans," I'm James Faraci The Last Of The Americans, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, A Happy Hannukah, A Cool Kwanza, A Funky Festivus and all other December holidays! (Everyone in Team TLOTA waves as the scene fades to black. Cut to the day after the Internet Reviewer Christmas party as James sits in sadness and solitude as "Mickey" from the "Rocky III" soundtrack plays. James opens up a bottle of egg nog and has a set of drink glasses)

TLOTA:
Well, here's to the year we squandered whatever magic was left. (A knock on the door as James finishes his first glass of Egg Nog) It's open. (Cut to the door as Rowdy enters)

Rowdy:
Hey James, something tells me you shouldn't be alone right now. (Cut to James as he sets up Egg Nog for two)

TLOTA:
Thanks (Rowdy walks up to James, takes a glass of Egg Nog, and the two toast.) It's non-alcoholic! I never told you how things ended up like this. It was 2019, Rob suffered a stroke, my dad was on his way out, and I had just got the lease for this place. I had hoped to take things slow with her, and then came August of that year. I was working on my "Different Cuts" of "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," and the paradox rift returned. Alex decided to use her powers to stop the rift, and then I thought I had found a future I could avoid. A future where I was at the same point my dad was at that time; everyone was gone, dead, I have to presume, and I was alone, doing this. (James takes a drink from his glass of Egg Nog.) I returned to the present to help Alex stop the rift. I woke up and thought it was a nightmare. I walked away and proposed but told her to wait to answer until she was ready. (Rowdy refills the glasses as the two toast again.) 2020 hit us all hard enough. When Rob passed in November of 2019, then my Dad passed in August 2020, and then the events that ended back in April of this year, I realized that the future I thought I had avoided was the one that I set in stone. (James and Rowdy drink another round of Egg Nog.)

Rowdy:
How do you know it's set in stone?

TLOTA:
Look at the state of the world. Everyone has embraced wrong, and they can't see what they're doing is hurting everyone. Humanity has adopted a "What can I get for a Me, Myself, and I?" mentality. The monster you thought was slain in 2020 is back, and no amount of divine energy will save us. (James takes a drink from his glass) Evil has won, Good has been trampled under the foot of stupidity, and everything we wanted is gone. The Magic is gone.  Everything we believe is meaningless now. We have lost; the future is over, and I realized it when Alex handed me back the ring and joined the pod. Do you get it? It's over, Rowdy. Do you understand?  IT'S FRICKING OVER! (James tosses his glass onto the picture, and it falls off the wall, and the frame breaks. Leaving a mess. James walks over and picks up the picture, and Rowdy follows behind him) I don't know what I can do anymore.

Rowdy:
James, I know it's hard, but the magic's there. You can't see or feel it, but you'll know it when it comes back. Merry Christmas, James, and hang in there. (Rowdy pats James on the back, then walks away and closes the door behind him. Fade to black.)

Cut to James in his office)

TLOTA:
I'm James Faraci The Last Of The Americans and the views that I'm about to express are that of my own and some of yours, and it's December, I got my Santa hat on, and my list of gifts is budgeted at $100.00, which will be stretching every last penny. The is "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" for 2023 AND (James taps on the smartwatch screen and becomes James Faraci)

James Faraci:
The Top Five moments of The Last Of The Americans from 2023 is a reason it's a top five because, later this month, we will be going over TEN years' worth of the best reviews from The Last Of The Americans as chosen by you guys. So, let's start off the top five moments of The Last Of The Americans in 2023.

(Scene cuts to a finger taps on a smartwatch as the 1994 American Gladiators plays as the scene cuts as it taps the app as it opens a portal, and it cuts to different images of James as the characters he's played until it cut to his face and the credit of "James Faraci" is shown as it cuts to "The Last Of The Americans'" current iteration then slides away to different images of Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun and Nick Yaun as the characters they've played until it cut to their faces and the credits of "Paulo and Brenda Fonseca & Rebecca and Nick Yaun" is shown as it then slides away to different images of John Ross and Mike Santos, Andrew Beach, and Ed Champion as the characters they've played until it cut to their faces and the credits of "John Ross Santos, Mike Santos, Andrew Beach, Ed Champion" is shown as it then slides away to different images of Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller and Olivia Horvath and the credits of "Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Olivia Horvath" is shown as the 0:00-0:21 mark of the theme song plays. Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the credits "Produced by First Choice Productions. Edited by Eric Kurtzke and Paulo Fonseca. Written and Directed by James Faraci" as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays and the words "Top Five" on the top of "The Last Of The Americans" and on the bottom those words are "Of 2023" as it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as James does a voiceover)

James Faraci (V.O.): Number Five

(Cut to "The Ten Biggest G-D DAMN M----RF---ING Mistakes I've made in the ten years of The Last Of The Americans" as James does a voiceover)

5)The Ten Biggest G-D DAMN M----RF---ING Mistakes I've made in the ten years of The Last Of The Americans

James Faraci (V.O.): Yep, needed to get this out of the way. I decided to go over everything I did wrong, and boy, I made many F-Ups! Looking back, I knew I would find enough to do a top 100, but I could answer for MANY of the mistakes I made and comment on the ones that were the most egregious. Specifically about the movie I wanted to make and the fact that my busting my ass for ten years meant bupkis for so many. And the fact that I was able to clear up many of the misconceptions about myself and admit my faults, I am hopeful I can make up for many of the mistakes I made. Now let's get started with (Morphing sound)

TLOTA (V.O.): The Last Of The Americans' Christmas Guide for 2023 (Cut to James and Team TLOTA in their Pajamas as they come rushing to the Christmas Tree and see different items they wanted and clean up as the camera turns to see in the Wrapping Paper shrapnel "The Last Of The Americans Holiday Gift Guide" slide wipe to James in Cooking gear around the Kitchen in the Studio.) TLOTA: As you may have noticed, I have dropped some weight. Well, partly because I had to lose weight because of my physical results and the fact that I needed to do so. I cut bread, candy cookies, and other baked goods and carbs. But I have also cut ninety-five percent of my fat usage. I use cast iron and The T-fal Signature Nonstick 12-piece Cookware Set to cook my food. I've also cut fried foods out of my diet as well. I've also made some changes as to what I could do for snacks. I use this NutriBullet Blender to make my zero-carb and zero-sugar-based drinks. Speaking of drinks, we're still doing warm drinks, so we now have the Keurig K-Compact Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, which everyone has used, as well as this, the OVENTE Glass Electric Kettle Hot Water Boiler 1.5 Liter Borosilicate Glass Fast Boiling Countertop Heater for when I desire a tea without the sugar. While I enjoy this, let's go back to James and his top five (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci: Okay, that was weird. Anyway, Number Four (Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to The Super Mario Bros. Movie review as James does a voiceover)

4) The "Super" movie of 2023

James Faraci (V.O.): Initially, I was hesitant to check it out. When I did, I fell in love with it. Because they got the movie right! When that happened, I decided to honor it with my review of what the movie was about. However, as I heard online trolls give this movie tsouris for Princess Peach the ability to be more than a dumbass damsel in distress, I decided to go for the throat and have them get what they deserve. The highlight of the review was when I jumped into the movie and got to show off something I was good at in college. My wicked good Mario Kart skills, especially when the blue shell hit. On another plus side, I got a new reaction when the bad guy's plan is to, that's right, take over the world. (Cut to James in the Super Mario Bros. Movie review as the Maw-Ray is about to eat him, Mario and Donkey Kong, and James says, "Of Course!" Cut to the ending of The Super Mario Bros. Movie as James does a voiceover)

James Faraci (V.O.): And, of course, the ending that made this movie awesome. When The Marios, Tonios, the entire battling borough of Brooklyn, and the cast from Law & Order Special Victims Unit. It is an excellent review worthy of a fantastic movie, possibly the best of the year. (Morphing sound)

TLOTA (V.O.): Thanks, James; I'll take over here. (Cut to James in a gym.)

TLOTA: In addition to my new dietary resolve, I've modified a room here to be the gym in the Studio. I do my DDP Yoga and weights and resistance training with The HITOSPORT Adjustable Weight Bench for a Full Body workout; in addition, I also use this little beauty, the Sunny Health & Fitness Compact Adjustable Rowing Machine; it's adjustable to 12 levels. We also use TheFLYBIRD Adjustable Weight Bench Workout Bench for Home Gym. It uses resistance bands to help use the body's weight to build muscle. The rest of my team and I hit this treadmill for an hour or so; you notice that I'm not wearing my usual boots in favor of sensible shoes. We happen to use it when we need it, and in the case of our associate Chad, when he decides that we need to have a little humiliation when it comes to being online content creators (Cut to everyone in Team TLOTA as they do the OK GO "Here it goes again" Choreography perfectly with the words "On Behalf of The Rest Of The Team, We apologize for this!" are shown at the bottom of the footage through the first half of the Choreography! Throughout the rest of the Choreography, the words "To soothe the humiliation and embarrassment when we return to this portion, we will be sharing the latest for the kids and infants after we return to James' Top Five moments of The Last Of The Americans at Number 3. Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to The Different Cuts Of the Star Wars Trilogy as James does a voiceover)

3) The Different Cuts Of the Star Wars Trilogy

James Faraci (V.O.):
I had wanted to do this forever, even thinking about it as the initial version of The Different Cuts. However, we have Affleck for both versions of Daredevil for the change, and then The Star Wars Trilogy almost became the one I did on that fateful day in 2020. Though I wish I had done that and things would be different, even better. But I digress; I wanted to do this SINCE Disney bought the Star Wars Franchise. That is how long I have wanted to talk about the original movies and the changes made by Lucasfilms and how, without having to go to third-party dealers and bootleggers to find it physically, I couldn't give it. Plus, I wanted to allow Steve Kidd a chance to do something he wanted to do to Kylo Ren since "The Force Awakens" allowed him to make Kylo dig his own grave after killing his father, Han Solo. I also needed to get it out of me, and it was one of the best versions of The Different Cuts I've done so far. Now, back to The Last Of The Americans with both my Great Nieces. (Morphing sound)

TLOTA (V.O.): They're my Great Nieces, Too! (Cut to James in the lobby with his great nieces.)

TLOTA: As the argument between myself and me said it best, which is weird. I have been blessed with time with my Great Niece Kinsleigh and her new cousin Alaina. I take care of both when their moms are busy as I can carry one with this The Tushbaby - Safety-Certified Hip Seat Baby Carrier so I can make them feel comfortable as I can have one of my great nieces. I can hold my other one so they can look at each other while I set up their feed. Since Kinsleigh is now getting to the age of potty training, we set up the bathroom in my private office; it's called The Toilet Potty Training Seat with Step Stool Ladder. Perfect for when the time comes for little Kinsleigh to get ready to say bye-bye to diapers. (A young girl shouts, "Hey! Uncle Jimmy! Give my nieces back to their moms!") Okay, Viv! Their Aunt, I promised I would use the family's youngest members sparingly. So now I get to spend some time with someone just as awesome! Their Aunt Viv. (James hands the great-nieces to their moms as Vivian and James get ready to check out some fun games.)

TLOTA: So, kiddo, are you ready to play?

Vivian Lee Faraci: Yep, as long as Mr. Narducci is playing! (Cut to Chad Narducci at some board games)

Chad Narducci: As a matter of fact, I have. starting off with this little test of mentality TAPPLE, the object is simple: Choose a card with a category, press the timer, and shout out words related to the category that start with a specific letter. Once the related word is announced, press the corresponding letter tab. This is followed by BLANK SLATE, Which is simple enough: come up with the right word in the phrase, and the player with the most right phrases wins. Next up, OUTSMARTED! It’s a live family trivia quiz show: Outsmarted uses the power of technology to create the most exciting, immersive board game experience ever!! Put your friends & family in the Hot Seat against the clock in your Live TV Trivia Quiz Show. (Cut to James and Vivian)

Vivian Lee Faraci: What about your other friends.

TLOTA: They have games as well. (Cut to James and Vivian as they play with Taco vs Burrito Paulo and Brenda Fonseca and Vivian soundly wins, Upwords with Rebecca and Nick Yaun, Topple with John and Mike Santos, Perfection with Olivia Horvath and Renee Miller, and Yahtzee with Andrew Beach, Ed Champion, and Julia Alexa Miller. Before cutting to Vivian, she cracks her neck, stretches her arms and fingers, and says, "Let's go, Mr. Narducci!" and the two square off as Vivian soundly beats Chad, leading Chad to scream and fall on the floor crying, "WHY?" multiple times before cutting to James and Vivian)

Vivian Lee Faraci: He's really taking it hard.

TLOTA: Compared to how I react when the New York Jets lose, this is NOTHING! Why don't we comfort him with a movie he and you can enjoy?

Vivian Lee Faraci: Okay, Uncle Jimmy. Come on, Mr. Narducci

TLOTA: While that happens... (James taps on the smartwatch screen and morphs back to James Faraci)

James Faraci: Okay, it's time for me to get to work again! Number two(Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as it cuts to S Club 7 TV series review as James does a voiceover)

2) "S Club 7" The Hard Way

James Faraci (V.O.):
Originally, I had planned on doing this as a Summer Spectacular, Similar to the one I did on "H2O: Just Add Water" & "Mako Mermaids." However, a tragic loss happened just as I was beginning to find what I needed for the Spectacular as the news of the passing of Paul Cattermole, one of the Seven, had passed away. I felt compelled to honor him and his life with the band. However, I also was reminded that in the States, they were known for only one song that hit the Top Ten on the Billboard Charts, which happened to be "Never Had A Dream Come True" in 2001. Otherwise, everyone knew about the band through their series on what is now known as "Freeform," which I do not have on my network lineup anymore; thank you very little Spectrum and Disney dispute! But still I was able to find what I needed for the review, and I was able to do something I hadn't done in a while! Sketches! I wanted to work on some funny non-sequiturs that fit into the narrative of the review's material. And as people pointed out, it was the FOURTH episode of S Club 7 in Hollywood that the band got their record deal, not the third as I so egregiously had posted.  But I was glad to have done this in one shot rather than have to spend a summer going on about the series. And as I said earlier, Paul Cattermole's passing made it feel rightly timed. Speaking of rightly timed, "The Last Of The Americans" should be at his destination in 3, 2,... (Cut to James at the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre in Hurleyville, NY.)

TLOTA:
Right on time. Yes, this building is the Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre here in the Small town of Hurleyville, where down the road, you can grab some regional Italian-American Fare, or you can try some of the epicurean meals on the Center's grounds and even, dare I say check out a movie or two. (Cut to James in the Performing Arts Center as he does a voiceover)

TLOTA (V.O.):
The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre is an independent community-supported organization. It houses a cinema, ballroom event space, dance studios, yoga studio, cafe, thrift shop, and gallery. We believe in serving the community by creating shared experiences by presenting quality classes, fine arts programming, and a diverse performing arts series accessible to everyone. Our venue sits at the center of a bucolic main street with a children’s playground, basketball & pickle ball courts, restaurants, a high school, and nine miles of Rails-to-Trails that follow ecologically diverse watersheds. The Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre includes a first-run movie theater. It has hosted various events, including the popular NPR storytellers, the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra, theatrical productions, dance classes, studio recitals, competitions, and performances. The grand ballroom used as a concert hall and event space is known for its exceptional acoustics and elegant surroundings for guest speakers, corporate and private events, and performances of all types. The Centre is run by Janet Carrus, and while I didn't get an interview, I did get a chance to enjoy a movie here that I probably wouldn't have in any other case. I got a chance to see The Super Mario Bros. Movie here. I also discovered that this place can celebrate local and outsider movie makers after the fall of the Hippodrome in Loch Sheldrake. Maybe I can convince certain people to have their movies shown here at the local film festival. However, that happens in the Rivoli Theatre in Fallsburgh, NY, which also houses the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop. The bottom line is that both the Centre and the Theatre are showing something that hasn't happened in Upstate New York, that life and art are happening here. And now we go to...

(Scene cuts to a finger as it taps an app on a watch as it opens a portal the 1994 American Gladiators theme song plays , and it cuts to different images of James as the characters he’s played until it cuts to his face and the credit of “James Faraci” is shown as it cuts to “The Last Of The Americans'” current iteration then slides away to different images of Paulo Fonseca, Brenda Fonseca, Rebecca Yaun, and Nick Yaun as the characters they’ve played until it cut to their faces and the credits of “Paulo and Brenda Fonseca & Rebecca and Nick Yaun” is shown as it then slides away to different images of John Ross and Mike Santos, Andrew Beach, and Ed Champion as the characters they’ve played until it cut to their faces and the credits of “John Ross Santos, Mike Santos, Andrew Beach, Ed Champion” is shown as it then slides away to different images of Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller and Olivia Horvath and the credits of “Eric Kurtzke, Renee Miller, Olivia Horvath” is shown as the 0:00-0:21 mark of the theme song plays. Everything becomes a swirl of Reds, Whites, and Blues as the credits “Produced by First Choice Productions. Edited by Eric Kurtzke and Paulo Fonseca. Written and Directed by James Faraci” as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into “The Last Of The Americans” and lands with half of his team on his right. The other half on his left is on a white background, and the title “THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS” is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays James Faraci" as the 0:21-0:26 mark of the theme song plays. We then see an outlined image of James as he morphs into "The Last Of The Americans" and lands with half of his team on his right and the other half on his left on a white background and the title "THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS" is shown Lazer etched into Titanium as the last six seconds of the American Gladiators 1994 theme song plays and the words "The Last Of The Americans" appear as it cuts to the swirl of red, white and blue and a number appears in the center as James does a voiceover)

James Faraci (V.O.): The Number one moment of The Last Of The Americans of 2023

1) The Tenth Anniversary Review: Man Of Steel

James Faraci (V.O.): Going into this review, I knew the following: A) It still remains Polarizing, B) It still tainted the legacy of Superman, C) I STILL didn't like Zod in this movie, and the performance of Michael Shannon in this movie, D) This was the first movie after the Dark Knight Trilogy, and that had some ramifications to the success to any further DC Movie, and Finally there would be comparisons to the Christopher Reeve Classic movie. That said, I needed to focus on reviewing the movie without relying too much on what would go into a usual The Last Of The Americans review. The results speak for itself. Possibly one of the most brutal movies I've had to talk about and one of the best reviews I've done because it led me by the end of the review I was able to retrospect on everything I had done in the past ten years of reviewing and all the personal highs and lows I went through. And if there are moments that should be on this list, let me know in the comments section. Next up is The Last Of The Americans, as he goes over the five best movies of this year. (Cut to clips of movies of 2023 as The Last Of The Americans does a voiceover.)

TLOTA (V.O.): Thanks, James; now to the five best movies of 2023 to get for your film fan from this year.

Number Five: Blue Beetle

Yeah, it's a shocker for me to put this on this list. Jaime Reyes' origin story is about how he gains the powers of the Blue Beetle and how his family is the people who can help him harness his powers and gain some semblance of a normal life. What puts it on this list is the acting, the writing, and the direction. George Lopez, Xolo Maridueña and everyone gives a great performance that it almost redeems a lot of what has been happening to the DC movies but not by much.

Number Four: Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny)

Harrison Ford returns for his final appearance as the Archaeologist as he must once again stop a madman from using a time-traveling mcguffin to take over the world. Now, he is separated from Marion after Mutt dies in Vietnam. He is not the same Indy we first saw in "Raiders Of The Lost Ark," as he now feels that he is history at a point where history was being made as the movie is set in the pivotal year of 1969 as the Apollo 11 flight puts man on the moon. While it feels like classic Indiana Jones, it's clear that this is Indy's last ride, and I can say it was a better ending than "Temple Of Doom" had.

Number Three: Avatar: The Way Of Water)

Sulley and his family have to run to protect the tribe against the returning earthlings who are hellbent on taking the elements from Pandora and destroying the Na'Vi. Learning about a new tribe to give everyone in Sulley's Family sanctuary and learning a new way of living, Sulley soon has to live with this new tribe as this new course for Sulley and his family goes less than smoothly. He eventually finds a way to regain the courage to fight and fight for his family and his new people. Yes, this sequel is an excellent continuation of the first movie and did well enough for more movies.

Number Two: The Super Mario Bros. Movie)

Mario and Luigi, The Super Mario Brothers, are plumbers in Brooklyn, and they are on a job that finds them in the Mushroom Kingdom battling Bowser, the King of Koopas. While the casting of celebrities for the voices of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser is a source of sourness for a lot of the fans, I have to say it didn't bother me because what drew me to the movie was the visuals, the story, and the direction. In a review, I even went into full detail about how awesome it was.

And at Number One: Oppenheimer)

The autobiographical telling of the man who created the first ultimate doomsday device in The Manhattan Project. Cillian Murphy encapsulates the man who was the head of the project, and while people consider the weapon the ultimate deterrent against further aggression in future wars.  Christopher Nolan showed that Oppenheimer was devastated by the results of his work and had to live with the fact he was, for all intents and purposes, the destroyer of worlds! All of these movies are available in physical and digital formats. Check them out and other movies wherever they're available. (Cut to James in his lobby as he sits with Vivian)

TLOTA:
Well, I hope you enjoyed this year's shopping list; I... hey Viv, what you got there? Looks like a BACKBONE One Mobile Gaming Controller, which hooks up to an iPhone or any other smartphone and turns it into a portable gaming console.

Vivian Lee Faraci:
It is; how do you know?

TLOTA:
Well, kiddo, Your uncle Jimmy has one himself. As does Mr. Narducci!

Chad Narducci:
Okay, Vivian, this is it, one last chance at redemption from years of being humiliated. One game, Dragon's Lair! The one that's furthest along wins! (Show the three as they play Dragon's Lair, with Vivian and James doing better than Chad. Eventually, Chad huffs off in defeat!)

TLOTA:
Got him again! (The two high-five each other) Merry Christmas, everyone, I'm James Faraci The Last Of The Americans. (Scene fades to black as it cuts to James as he continues to walk and the instrumental for "Happy XMas (War Is Over).")

James Faraci (Internal thoughts):
Oh god, it's so cold. I can't help but keep moving. I still have to make it westward, end it! End it all. I have to end it. I wonder if anyone out there knows everything about me and cares. (Cut to Rowdy as he sadly celebrates the holidays, wondering where James is and preparing for another fight. Cut to James as he continues to walk westwards.) If someone I knew has honestly forgotten me and is now better off without me (Cut to Julia Alexa Miller and the pod celebrating their end of celestial year festivities as Julia Alexa Miller looks at the stars with the fading hope James will find her. Cut to James as he continues to walk westwards.) I just look and know that the only truth I know is that heroes have failed; evil wins constantly. I should know if I was a hero; everything I fought for seems to have gone extinct. I have failed. (James continues to walk as the snow blows over James' walking and fades to black.)
