(The Stranger Things
intro plays as Different letters outlined in Red are shown and the names “James
Faraci”, “Rebecca Yaun”, “Nick Yaun”, “Paulo Fonseca”, “Brenda Fonseca”,
“Olivia Horvath”, “Ed Champion”, “Renee Miller”, “John Ross Santos”, “Mike
Santos”, “Andrew Beach” are shown in White as the letters outlined in red come
together to form “The Last Of The Americans” before fading away to James in his
office.)
TLOTA:
I’m James Faraci The
Last Of The Americans and the views that I’m about to express are that of my
own and some of yours and Welcome to another edition of “The Different Cuts”
(Cut to The entire team as they are armed with Chainsaws and Double Barreled 12
Gauge Shotguns as Hordes of Zombies come their way and everyone on Team “TLOTA”
hack and slash their way through them all with different body parts and blood
spelling out “The Different Cuts” as the final Chorus from “Don’t Stop Me Now”
covered by Darren Criss plays in the background before cutting to clips from
the first “Halloween” movie play as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
The original 1978 Halloween movie directed by
John Carpenter started the slasher film craze of the 1980’s and 1990’s and
while Halloween II was as good as the first it should’ve ended there but sadly
it didn’t. While the third movie tried to turn the franchise into an anthology
series audience backlash forced producers to bring Michael Myers back and sadly
the quality of the sequels kept going downhill so by the time the sixth one
came out in 1995 the franchise was on its last legs! Having gone through hell
the Original Producers Cut which was very dark and controversial and never got
a theatrical release. The one we got was possibly one of the dumbest,
unoriginal and yet somehow underrated movies in the entirety of the “Halloween”
movies. Not even Rob Zombie’s reimagining of the original and the sequel that suceeded
it can claim it is that damn good. But eventually in 2014 the original
Producer’s Cut got a Blu-Ray release and Hoo boy are we in for it now! (Cut to
James physically)
TLOTA:
I never thought I’d
say this but I’m keeping the biggest spoiler OUT of this one when we talk about
this movie and find out if the Theatrical or Producers’ version is the better
cut of Halloween 6. Let’s start off as we usually do as we find out what and if
this movie has a plot. (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The
Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the
background before a knife comes between the two covers and the words “The Plot”
are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James
does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Set several years after Halloween 5, young
Jamie Lloyd (Unenthusiastic Ha-Ha) is pregnant and gives birth to a baby which
is taken by a cult but both mother and child escape with Michael Myers on the
hunt for both. Meanwhile Dr. Loomis returns to find a way to stop Michael and
this cult and protect the baby who is found by Tommy Doyle played by Paul Rudd
in one of his first acting roles before becoming a Seth Rogen/Judd Apatow/Adam
McKay regular player and of course “ANT-MAN” after they kill off Jamie Lloyd
and we discover that the Strode family sans Laurie has moved into the Myers
home. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, which one used this plot better? Well
neither one. (Cut to clips of both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a
voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Okay so let me clear
up how and which one of these cuts are going to be point worthy. The moment
must be either the least annoying or most tolerable element in the plot and
while the original Producers’ cut clears up who the father of Jamie Lloyd’s
baby is, something I’ll never reveal here but sufficive to say that because the
plot in the Producers’ cut was more coherent I have to give the point to the Producers’
cut because quite honestly that’s all this version has going for it so far.
(Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So the Producers’ version draws first blood in
this battle. (Cut to the covers of The
Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween”
theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and a
drop of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut of Halloween 6 before
cutting back to James physically)
TLOTA:
So now we discover
which one of these two were edited better and by better, I mean less
excruciatingly painful to sit through. (Cut to the
covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the
1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the
two covers and the word “Editing” are spouted out in blood before cutting to
both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
I
have to say the editing in both versions are atrocious. I guess it has to do
with the fact that the Original Producers Cut was so negatively received by
test audiences that they had to re-edit it in order to make sense or how they
perceived it to make sense. The Theatrical cut took out huge chunks of
subplots. One of which being the Cult and How Michael Myers was in fact the
Lackey of Winn the supposed “True villain” of the movie, Footage of Dr. Loomis
and the proposed ending of the original movie which would’ve had Loomis become
Michael’s caretaker and Michael taking off his trademarked costume and becoming
the figure in the Black coat thus giving way for more sequels with Donald Pleasence
which never came to pass due to Donald Pleasence’s passing. But the fact the
editing of the Producers’ cut puts a lot more into why and how the movie was
the way it was. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, it goes without saying that the Original
Producers’ cut is the far superior cut. Why is that? (Cut to clips of both
versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Because not only does this enhance the plot of
the Producers’ cut even though the death scenes in the Theatrical cut is better
for the most part, the Producers cut somehow has better flow making it by
default the better edited movie. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
Point going to the Producers’ Cut.
(Cut to the covers of
The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978
“Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two
covers and a second drop of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut of
Halloween 6 before cutting back to James physically)
TLOTA:
The Producers’ cut is
ahead two to nothing but can the theatrical cut gain any ground in this
slaughterhouse? We’ll find out after the break. (Power cuts out before
returning) ORAC! What happened?
ORAC (Audio only):
I turned on the emergency generator, we are
now on limited power until NYSEG can restart the power. (James gets out of
his office to check around before coming across everyone else.)
TLOTA:
Guys! What happened?
I thought I paid all the bills.
Olivia Horvath:
You did!
Rebecca Yaun:
We tried to contact
someone but it’s like something is blocking the signals.
John Ross Santos:
I’ve looked around there’s no devices, no
signal blockers, not even a mobile blocking app!
Ed Champion:
Am I the only one who
has the Heebie Jeebies?
Andrew Beach:
Ed, It’s the Halloween season, everyone is
scared. Granted everyone is more scared by the fact we could be nuked at any
second is nothing to sneeze at right now but nothing too scary is gonna happen
now.
Paulo Fonseca:
Exactly, I mean it’s
not like there’s a mask wearing, weapon wielding maniac lurking in a dark
corner.
Nick Yaun:
Well I say we arm
ourselves, stay in pairs and if trouble should arise contact everyone. Rebecca
you’re with me. (Cut to Rebecca moving next to Nick) Brenda, you’re with Paulo
(Cut to Brenda moving over to Paulo before cutting to Rebecca and Nick Yaun)
John, you’re with Mike (John and Mike just stand there and shrug their shoulders
before cutting to Rebecca and Nick Yaun) Ed, you’re with Andrew (Cut to Andrew
shuffling over past Olivia to stand beside Ed and Olivia next to Renee)
Olivia Horvath:
Looks like me and
Renee are teaming up and Eric is with James? (Cut to Nick and Rebecca Yaun)
Nick Yaun:
Olivia, you must be
Psychic! (Cut to James as Eric stands next to him)
TLOTA:
She told you last
December that she was a Psychic Medium! (Cut to everyone except Olivia and
James going OH! Before cutting to James and Eric.)
Eric Kurtzke:
Let’s not stand here, let’s get the weapons.
(Everyone says “Right” as they separate and the Camera pans to one of the front
Window Panels as Lightning shows Michael Myers played by Eric Kurtzke as
the Michael Myers reveal music plays before cutting to 0:36-end mark from the
theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera
moves back to see James on top of the slab with the words “The Last Of The
Americans” on it act as the commercial break intro and return to James as he
sits with the rest of his notes and Eric moves around James with a loaded
crossbow)
TLOTA:
Eric, you are making
me very nervous.
Eric Kurtzke:
How?
TLOTA:
Oh, the fact you have
a crossbow that could cause some damage to the uninitiated.
Eric Kurtzke:
Now James quit being
so paranoid it’s not like it’s gonna… (The Trigger goes off and the Arrow
ricochets around the office before it lands in Nick’s Baseball Bat giving
Rebecca center parting in her hair. Cut to James as Eric nervously chuckles and
walks out of frame.)
TLOTA:
Don’t go too far, just in case AND FOR THE
LOVE OF PEAT MOSS KEEP THE SAFETY ON THE CROSSBOW! Now let’s see, what else do
I usually do for comparison between the different cuts of Movies? Oh yeah, The
Cast and Characters! (Cut to the covers
of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978
“Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two
covers and the word “Cast and Characters” are spouted out in blood before
cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Seeing how many good
actors that are in this movie and how they are wasted is not a surprise to me.
We have Donald Pleasence in his final performance before his death, Paul Rudd
who should thank his lucky stars he had a career after this one, hell one of my
favorite actresses many have forgotten about is in this pumpkin Kim Darby who
was in the classic version of “True Grit” and for me IS Mattie Ross but in this
movie, is Debra Strode who sadly ends up being Michael’s first victim. But
everyone seems to remember from both cuts of this movie, is the abusive John
Strode. He nearly gets knifed by his grandson for being such an asshole and
surprisingly I don’t relate to the asshole, as a matter of fact seeing him die
is possibly one of the better moments in both movies. Then there’s the supposed
“True Villain” of the movie Dr. Winn. The character was so transparently evil…
you know what let me do this (James jumps into the movie as it pauses on Dr.
Winn as James pulls out a sharpie and writes “VILLAIN” on Dr. Winn’s forehead.)
TLOTA:
HOW MUCH MORE FREAKING OBVIOUS CAN I MAKE IT?!
(Cut to clips of both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
But to find out which one is the point worthy
of the two. We’re going to break it down as such. Which characters did you like
as they die? Well for me the death of John Strode was more graphic and
surprisingly more satisfying as Michael Myers electrocuted him in the theatrical
cut. But I think I know why Michael was killing off the Strodes. (Cut to Tommy
and Kara as they talk about why Michael is attacking The Strodes and Tommy says
that if someone is staying in Michael’s family home they are his family from
the Producer’s Cut before cutting back to clips of both movies as James does a
voiceover)
Then there is the Characters
you know are just there to help get Michael into a killing frenzy and quite
honestly the deaths are more interesting and less abstract in the Producer’s cut.
But while the cult never got theirs in the Producer’s cut the theatrical one
does show Winn and the Thorn Cult getting slaughtered but it also has Paul
Rudd’s Tommy beat Michael Myers like a government mule. So, it’s
a toss-up on which one is the better one but because this is too close to count
so I should give the point to both. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, with little to no
surprise both get the point but the Producer’s cut is ahead 3-1 (Cut to the
covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the
1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the
two covers and a three drops of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut and
one drop on the theatrical cut of Halloween 6 before cutting back to James
physically)
TLOTA:
Now comes the moment
I know neither one should get but one will. Let’s look at both cuts to see
which one has The Re-Watch Factor! (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and
The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the
background before a knife comes between the two covers and the word “The
Re-Watch Factor” are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of
Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
I’m gonna say it
right now, neither cut is worthy of being worth the point. But I will say this
about both movies. If you want more of the Original Halloween movie’s vibe then
the Producer’s Cut is good for a few reasons. First off, more Donald Pleasence
is a plus in this movie even though the director of this movie found Dr. Loomis
boring which is a LOAD! Secondly there are more musical cues from the original
soundtrack and finally less jump scare music. There’s subtlety, build-up, character
development and a twist about the baby’s father which WILL NEVER be mentioned
here plus they also did make a more disturbing feature. The Theatrical cut has
its own unique feel to it. While it is a mess, it is a somewhat enjoyable mess
that somehow finds itself above the bottom of the barrel than the Rob Zombie
Remake and Sequel. While yes, I feel no need to give the point to the
theatrical cut, I can say it tried but it failed miserably! So, for the mere
fact it’s a lot more coherent and feels like a Halloween movie even though it
goes off its own rails, I give the Producer’s Cut of Halloween 6 the point
making it the superior cut of “The Curse of Michael Myers”. (Cut to James
physically)
TLOTA:
The Producer's cut has a total of four points to the one of the theatrical making The Producer's Cut the winning cut of “Halloween 6: The Curse of
Michael Myers” (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut
of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a
knife comes between the two covers and four drops of blood lands on the cover
of the Producers’ cut and one drop on the theatrical cut of Halloween 6 before
cutting to Tommy Doyle as he bashes both cuts with a lead pipe then cut to
James physically as the power goes out once again.)
TLOTA (Audio only):
NOW WHAT? (James
grabs a flashlight and looks around in the dark with bolts of lightning
striking showing Michael Myers is three arms’ length away)
TLOTA (Audio only):
Brenda? Paulo?
Rebecca? Nick? Eric? Renee? John? Mike? Andrew? Ed? Liv? Anyone there? This is
so ridiculous, I paid the bills, I mean yeah by the skin of my teeth but at
least I got them paid off and everyone else got paychecks. I put what’s left
after everything else has been considered into my savings
account and hope it adds for when I finally move out of my parent’s place. This
is so ridiculous even I can’t fathom how ridiculous it is! (The power returns
as James sees everyone looking in total fear.)
TLOTA:
Hey guys! Everything
appears to be fine. (Cut to everyone else)
Renee:
Uh James, do you do realize that you got
yourself some bad news behind you? (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
No, uh is he friendly? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone else:
No! (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Well then, is it
someone we should be afraid of? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone Else:
YES! (Cut to James.)
TLOTA:
Just out of
curiosity, who is behind me? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone Else:
MICHAEL MYERS!
(Cut to James as he turns around to see Michael Myers as the Halloween theme performed
by Colin Drum plays in the background from the 0:00-0:49 mark as James gets his
left arm cut as he tries to reach for a sonic screwdriver while everyone else
runs out leaving James to fend for himself, James runs for his life and Michael
Myers lumbers behind James eventually cutting to ORAC’s chamber in which James
is tossed to the podium where ORAC is resting and James is getting choked to
death by Michael Myers.)
ORAC:
ACCESSING THE TWIST
ABOUT YOUNG STEPHEN FROM THE PRODUCER’S CUT OF HALLOWEEN 6: THE CURSE OF
MICHAEL MYERS
(Cut to the moment in the Producer’s cut of “Halloween 6: The
Curse Of Michael Myers in which Kara reveals that Michael Myers knocked up his
15 year old niece Jamie Lloyd to produce baby Stephen before cutting to James
as he gets angry and gets Michael Myers off his throat!)
TLOTA:
You…Asshole!
You…Inhuman beast! You…pile of RAT FECES!
YOU HAD YOUR WAY WITH YOUR FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD NIECE?! YOU SICK SICK
BASTARD?! I tried to reason with myself to never mention that moment! I tried
to assure myself that the moment never happened! I tried to understand the
moment but I understand it perfectly and I think that I now understand and I
know you are unsalvageable and I don’t know if you should be allowed
forgiveness, peace of mind or just simple redemption, I don’t suppose it really
matters anymore You ARE A MONSTER! THAT IS THE ROLE YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO PLAY, SO
IT SEEMS THAT I MUST PLAY MINE! THE MAN WHO DESTROYS THE MONSTERS! I’M SENDING
YOU TO HELL SCREAMING IN PAIN AS I SHOVE YOU ASS FIRST INTO A WOOD CHIPPER, WHO
KNOWS?! MAYBE THE DEVIL WILL GIVE YOU SANCTUARY AND IF HE DOES NOT REMEMBER
THIS! YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME HERE! THIS REALM IS DEFENDED! I AM JAMES FARACI
THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS! AND I NAME YOU THE SHAPELESS!
(James punches Michael
Myers through the front door as 0:50-2:59 plays in the foreground as James and
Michael Myers trade blows eventually Michael Myers being punched into a lamp
post in the parking lot outside James’ studio and falling down at the 1:37 mark
and James standing there exhausted before James picks Michael Myers up and snaps both of Michael Myers wrists and continues
his attack on Michael Myers and Michael Myers trying to run away from James as
he continues his attack until he sees a Wood Chipper used in Street cleaning
and forces Michael towards it and James drop kicking him in ass first into the
wood chipper and Michael Myers dies screaming in pain before cutting to a semi
bloodied James Faraci as everyone else looks to see the shredded bits and
pieces of Michael Myers being splattered all over the street!)
John Ross Santos:
Damn dude!
Mike Santos:
Yeesh This is gonna
take a while for the state to clean up!
Ed Champion:
Yep and What a way to
go!
Andrew Beach:
Nah, jumping into a pool full of flesh hungry
piranhas covered in meat! That’s the way for me!
Paulo Fonseca:
Andrew, take it any
way you want but you are weird!
Nick Yaun:
Well that little girl
in Halloween 6 was right, it’s raining red!
Rebecca Yaun:
Yeah but the little
girl was nuts!
Brenda Fonseca:
After seeing this, I
realize I should never get on your bad side
Renee Miller:
I just realized, I’m the first black woman to
survive a horror movie.
Olivia Horvath:
Nevertheless, you made good on your word. You
sent Michael Myers to hell screaming in pain as he died going ass first into a
wood chipper!
TLOTA:
I just finished what everyone else started
already started!
(Cut to different clips of the Halloween movies with Michael
Myers as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As much as there are a few bright spots in
this movie franchise, I truly feel this franchise has been ripped, shredded, torn,
sliced, diced, massacred, burned, frozen, shattered and broken so badly that
the only thing left for it to do is let it die. Although there are rumors of
John Carpenter returning to executively produce a new one but to be honest, it
may be too little too late for Michael Myers to be saved. Nothing will ever top
the original and for as much as they wanted to build on things from the first
movie but it should’ve been just a one-off movie for Michael Myers. If there
were to have been sequels after the 1978. It should’ve built on the how and why
these people became Michael’s targets without going into crazy stuff like a
Celtic cult based on the thorn symbol or being into itself to wonder Why
Michael became a psychotic killer. Michael is just a psycho, we don’t need too
much backstory on Michael. That’s why Rob Zombie’s version of Halloween and its
sequel didn’t connect and why this one failed to succeed at all. So, I’m going
to ask this one more time, let Michael Myers die already! (Cut to James and
everyone else)
TLOTA:
Come on guys let’s
get back to the studio. (Everyone else walks away) I’m James Faraci The Last Of
The Americans and That’s my opinion! (Cut to an overhead shot of James as he
walks away and the camera pulls back to show that blood spatter that was
Michael Myers show the sign of the thorn as the audio of the creepy little girl
singing “It’s Raining Red” echoes in the background as she sings “It’s Raining
Red” echoing even further as it fades to black before cutting to James in the
main lobby as he talks on his cell phone.)
TLOTA:
Okay, Yes, Yes, I got
it! Well by coincidence it’ll be after I finish my Top 13 Stephen King Characters
list and seeing as how I’m leaving the Haunted House for the kiddies that
morning and the Haunted Adult Swim Party to the rest of my crew, I’m free that
day. I’m always willing to help anyway I can! See you October 31st.
Bye! (James shuts off his cell phone and finds Paulo, Rebecca, Nick, Brenda and
Olivia in James’ office)
TLOTA:
How did you guys know I needed you? (Cut to
Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ office)
Olivia Horvath:
I sensed you’d call for us? (Cut to James in
the doorway)
TLOTA:
Okay. I’ll buy that. Listen can you hold up
the fort Halloween, I promised Alex from “Life As A Mermaid”, I’d take Taylor
& Marcella to a con in Upstate New York.
(Cut to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ Office)
Brenda Fonseca:
Yeah, about that,
what do you owe them? (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
What I owe them is my respect. They give their
best performances and I enjoy that and I want to help them out anyway I can.
(James turns to the audience) And the best way you can help is supporting their
Patreon, Link Here: https://www.patreon.com/lifeasamermaid
so they can bring more great episodes and more great seasons! (James turns back
to everyone else before cutting to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in
James’ Office)
Paulo Fonseca:
Exactly my wife’s
point. Why did you give them and their Patreon a shout out? (Cut to James in
the doorway)
TLOTA:
They bring
entertainment that’s light and in our world, that’s quickly heading south don’t
you guys think it’s something we all need? (Cut to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda
and Olivia in James’ Office)
Nick Yaun:
James, we see your
point. The point we’re trying to make is you shouldn’t overdo yourself. We care
about you. (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
I know you guys do
but it’s something I want to do as well. Who knows maybe things might be fun
and fun is in short supply. I’ll see you guys later! (James walks off as it
cuts to Paulo, Nick, Brenda, Rebecca and Olivia in James’ office)
Olivia Horvath:
Okay, he’s gone. Now
can you tell me what you need from me?
Rebecca Yaun:
I know this might
sound silly but we heard whispers saying things about being Hope for… For James
let’s not beat around the bush on this. (A ghostly whisper says “Broken” and
everyone looks up and around)
Paulo Fonseca:
Olivia, tell me you
heard that!
Olivia Horvath:
Yeah, I heard the
word “Broken”!
Nick Yaun:
Good, so we’re not crazy! (A light emanates
off the letter as Ghostly whispers echo the following “He is Broken”, “Broken
must be rebuilt”, “He must be rebuilt”, “Rebuild the Hope”, “Rebuild the
Broken” and everyone in James’ office is left in stunned silence for two
seconds as the echoes of the Ghostly Whispers dissipate)
Olivia Horvath:
Okay this is
something that isn’t going to go away anytime soon, one suggestion I have is…
Rebecca Yaun:
We discussed this
already, telling James is not only a bad idea, it is the Mother and Father of
Bad Ideas get together and their child has one even worse than the bad idea the
grandparents of that bad idea had. That is how bad the idea is!
Olivia Horvath:
Whether we tell him
now or he discovers it further down the road, he’ll know and if he knows you
knew before he did, he’s gonna let you have it with both barrels. The first
chance we get, we should tell him about it.
TLOTA (Audio only):
About the Whispers?
(Everyone else jump and gasp in surprise as James returns to the office.)
TLOTA:
The question I have
now is… Did you discover the whispers around the same time I did or not?
Brenda Fonseca:
Well… remember last
month when we were helping you clean up after the whole cancelled Disney
continuation series?
TLOTA:
Oh, okay so the same
time I heard it.
Olivia Horvath:
Wait you all knew at
the same time? Why not ask for my help earlier?
TLOTA:
Well I had heard it
while I was working with ORAC, I had no idea at the time if anyone else heard,
I take it you heard those whispers when you were cleaning up and Liv I wanted
to wait until after Halloween so we could focus the meaning together. Which is
something we will all do together. Though Rebecca, why do you think it’d be me?
Rebecca Yaun:
That letter was from Emmalina, who else could
it be?
Olivia Horvath:
I think the best way
is for me to feel the Letter to understand what’s going on. (James reluctantly
takes the letter from its frame and hands the letter to Olivia who two seconds
after touching it feels the energy flowing through it.)
TLOTA:
LIV! (Olivia’s eyes
turn white as it shows she is possessed by a spirit)
Olivia Horvath
(Possessed):
James! Are you there?
TLOTA:
I’m here! Emmalina?
Is that you?
Olivia Horvath
(Possessed):
Emmalina? Yes! I once
went by that name! Now I am in someone else!
TLOTA:
Who? Who are you,
now? Is Olivia Horvath there?
Olivia Horvath
(Possessed):
Olivia is accessing
me from where I am now! I don’t know where I am! I know inside you are without
hope! You are Broken! Your friends will find me and when they do hope will be
restored and you will be rebuilt. We will meet again! (A burst of energy blasts
out of Olivia Horvath that sends shockwaves through the studio everyone save
for James gets back up to take care of Olivia.)
Paulo Fonseca:
Olivia, Are you okay?
Nick Yaun:
Are we sure it’s even
her?
Olivia Horvath:
It’s me but I felt
something pass through me. Wait, is James even alive. (Cut to James as he gets
up and grabs the letter as the words fade away.)
Paulo Fonseca:
James, what happened?
TLOTA:
I don’t know.
Olivia Horvath:
It looks like the
words have disappeared.
Rebecca Yaun:
What does that mean?
Nick Yaun:
Can I say what
might’ve happened? I think whatever was in the letter has gone to where
Emmalina is.
Brenda Fonseca:
That’s a possibility.
What do we do now?
TLOTA:
Simple, we put the letter back in the… Huh
that’s odd. (James puts the glass on the letter and the words reappear and when
the glass is not on the letter the words disappear.) When the letter is framed
in the glass, the words appear but when it’s not in its frame the words are
gone. Liv, any idea as to why that is? (Olivia looks at the letter as the words
appear and disappear.)
Olivia Horvath:
That is not your
everyday glass, is it?
TLOTA:
There is a filter to
protect the original version but if the words are still there that means Emmalina
is still out there and only she can revive the words without the filter and for
now we keep things as they are and we hope she finds us here. Meanwhile I’ve
got my word to fulfil! (Everyone walks out as they try to move forward knowing
they are united in one secret.)
