Live To Win-Ter: "Cool" as a cucumber!

(Scene starts as James straps on snowboarding gear and snowboarding down a mountain before cutting to John Santos, Mike Santos, Eric Kurtzke as they do curling Paulo Fonseca, Nick Yaun, Andrew Beach and Ed Champion as they hit the ice in Team USA Hockey gear before seeing Renee Miller and Rebecca Yaun in a two-person Bobsled careening through the course before seeing Olivia Horvath and Brenda Fonseca team up in pair of choreographed ice skating as they do a matching flying triple salchow and land next to everyone on top of the Olympic Podium as they all raise their Gold Medals before the raising of the American flag is seen and as the flag waves the words “Live To Win-Ter” is seen as 2:20-3:09 of “Live To Win” by Paul Stanley plays in the foreground before cutting to James in his office on his phone.)
TLOTA:
I’m not accusing you of… YES, I will side with you in The Great War when it comes to the County of Sullivan and I will help you DELETE Bray Wyatt and do you know why I side with you and the Woken Warriors? Wait you knew I’d side you because King Arthur said, “I’d come to you with dire news that someone would say the words of the Woken one and claim The Woken one sent them to the one.” (James does the same laugh as Woken Matt Hardy is doing) But I assure you I only ask to exonerate you in hopes you would help me find out who would shatter the trust between you and The Woken Warriors. Yeah, have Julius Caesar work on finding out who’d do such a thing. Yes, Yes. DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! DELETE! (James does the same laugh as Woken Matt Hardy is doing before James shuts off the phone and gets to his seat.)
TLOTA:
So, where was I? Oh yeah, the next installment of our Olympic movie marathon as we take one more of Disney’s Olympic Tales (Cut to opening of “Cool Runnings” before cutting to clips of the movie as “Rise Above It” by Rasta Rocket plays on the foreground and James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Yeah, the loosest based story about the first actual attempt for the Jamaican Bobsled Team to A) Come Together and B) Try to be accepted by their peers. Cool Runnings is a very unique movie about the Underdogs and how even though you might not get them now. You can earn the respect of others and understand each other. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So let’s feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme and get on up because it’s bobsledding time and let’s get into COOOOOOOOL RUNNNNINGS! Yeah, I’m a dork.
(Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As our movie begins we’re introduced Derice Bannock played by Leon as he practices for the 100m run for the 1988 Summer Olympics but slows down enough to meet his good friend Sanka Coffie played by Doug. E Doug as he gets ready for the Push Cart Rally which ends just as you think it would. (Cut to Sanka as he crashes the push cart and Derice asks Sanka if he’s dead and Sanka Replies “Yeah Mon!” before cutting to the qualifiers for the Olympics)
Things go about as well as one Junior Bevil played by Rawle D. Lewis has an accident that takes out not only Derice but also another runner played by Malik Yoba and he’s named… (Show clip of him saying his name is Yul Brenner before cutting to James physically mouthing “Yul Brenner?” “What?” Before cutting to clips of the real Yul Brynner as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
For those wondering the name is in reference to the legendary character actor who won an academy award and two Tony awards for the role of King Mongkut in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The King and I” He also got acclaim as Ramesses II in the Cecil B DeMille’s Biblical Blockbuster “The Ten Commandments” He had a very prolific career including movies like The Magnificent Seven (The original one), Westworld and its sequel Futureworld. He died from cancer in 1986 after returning to the role of King Mongkut in a traveling tour of “The King and I” and if you didn’t know well now you do. (Cut back to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As Derice tries to ask for a do-over in which the head of the Jamaican Olympic Committee can’t do. Derice comes upon a picture of his father and another Olympian by the name of Irv Blitzer. (The head of the Jamaican Olympic Committee tells Derice about Irv’s plan to make a Jamaican Bobsled Team and Derice asking “What’s A Bobsled?” before cutting to James physically)
TLOTA:
A plot device for the movie. (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Derice explains what a bobsled is to Sanka and after some initial hesitation Sanka signs on and they soon find their coach Irv Blitzer played by the late John Candy as he’s pretty much down and out. (Show clip of Irv Blitzer as he goes off on a radio in which the horse race he was betting on went against him before cutting to James physically as everyone else off screen says “STOP!” before cutting to James meeting up with the others in the lobby)
TLOTA:
What is it this time? (Cut to everyone else)
Paulo Fonseca:
We know you you’re going to say. It involves the New York Jets and how you would like to see the current New York Jets Coaching Staff…
Rebecca Yaun:
And their head Coach…
Nick Yaun:
Todd “Toilet” Bowles…
Brenda Fonseca:
Somehow be given lessons on how to care and how to win…
Ed Champion:
Or fired and replaced…
Andrew Beach:
With a Coaching Staff that can make the New York Jets winners…
Olivia Horvath:
Then get the team a defense line that can finally put Tom Brady…
John Santos:
and those no good lousy stinking cheating Patriots straight to hell…
Mike Santos:
And an offensive line that can get the New York Jets to win the Super Bowl.
Everyone else (In Unison):
And until that happens while you’ll support the team, you are done waiting for them to get their heads out of their collective asses and get the job done! (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Wow, am I that predictable in terms of my relationship for the New York Jets team but not how they’re getting the job done? (Cut to everyone else nodding yes before cutting back to James as he looks sadly confused to the fact about how right they are.) Don’t know how to react to that.
(Cut to 0:36-end mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera moves back to see James on top of the slab with the words “The Last Of The Americans” on it act as the commercial break intro and return to the review as it cuts to the movie as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
After bugging the hell out of Irv. They finally get him on board though with a great amount of reluctance. They also get Yul and Junior on board as well even though Junior’s father is looking to send him to become a banker. But as training progresses with everyone laughing in their faces they face yet another hurdle financial setbacks. After many a humorous attempt to make the cash including Sanka’s Reggae song. Junior comes up with the cash by selling his tickets to go else where and a car. So, it’s off to the 1988 Winter Olympics where the weather there is Slightly warmer there than it is here! (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
Not even kidding it is now a balmy 1-degree Fahrenheit. Allow me to show you. (James gets into his winter weather gear grabs a pot of boiling water and walks out to the outside of his office to toss the boiling water into a sheet of ice two seconds after tossing it before cutting to the others seeing the sheet of ice.)
Andrew Beach:
Dude, was that…
TLOTA:
Boiling water? It was. Now it’s a sheet of ice.
John Santos:
But you weren’t out there for five seconds!
TLOTA:
I know! (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
After getting themselves set in Olympic Village, what do they do? Get a Bobsled. Leading to my first big reoccurring joke. (Show clip of the Jamaican Bobsled Team as they go into the track and then comedically not come out of the turn.)
Derice:
Sanka! Ya Dead?
Sanka:
Yeah Mon!
Derice:
Well, you can pee now.
Sanka:
Um… Too Late!
TLOTA (Voiceover):
After a few embarrassing practices and a threat from Junior’s father to take him off the team, the others decide to blow off some steam at a bar in Calgary where Junior gets a lesson in manning up which leads to a very humorous bar fight! (Cut to James physically as a bottle gets thrown James’ way and he ducks.)
TLOTA:
OKAY! You wanna try me?! (James opens a bottle of Martinelli’s, chugs it down and breaks the bottom off!) BRING IT ON! MON! (James jumps over the camera before cutting to James wailing on everything in sight then getting knocked off screen before we hear a pool cue crack and a voice saying, “You shouldn’t have done that!” before cutting to the outside of the bar and Elmer Bernstein’s more comical music from “Big Jake” is heard in the foreground along with punches. James is thrown out the front door before cutting to a pair of shoes which quickly pans up to see the face of Brian Zane from “Wrestling With Wregret”)
Brian Zane:
You better quit being unfriendly mister! (Cut to James as he gets up)
TLOTA:
Hold it there, friend! I think there’s been a mistake. Have you ever been to Nacogdoches? (Cut to Brian Zane)
Brian Zane:
Nacogdoches? No (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Strange, sorry about that, pardon me. (James walks away as Brian is left there pondering)
Brian Zane:
But I’ve never been to Nacogdoches! (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Irv and Derice keep them from getting jailed but Irv has all he can stand of them being as immature as five-year olds!  (Show clip of Irv blowing up on the team before cutting to James physically)
TLOTA:
Damn dude make ‘em feel even smaller than they are why don’t ya? But I understand why he did it. (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
The next morning we get a staple in the Sports movie. The Montage and to be fair it does show the Jamaican Bobsled team improving with everything the IOC threw at them in their trial they’re…. disqualified. CRAP! Well that doesn’t sit well with Irv at all. (Show clip of Irv Blitzer as he tells the IOC what happened to get his medal revoked and to chew out the IOC before cutting back to the rest of the movie as James does a voiceover)
After Irv said his peace, The IOC decides “Eh, let the Jamaicans Bobsled.” They take it professionally! (Show everyone getting excited before cutting to James physically)
TLOTA:
Okay, show a little more energy, could you not be so restrained. (Cut to Irv Blitzer as he says, “No Problem Mon!” before cutting to the movie as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
The first run begins and to say they were pretty much as the same as Ishtar is underestimating it. Their coach handles it well. (Show Irv letting them know about how disappointed in them he is.) As the others in the team is wondering what to do next. Derice who has been a little too into the Swiss team tries to think how the Swiss would handle something like this when Sanka tells Derice that the only way they’ll win is to not think Swiss but instead think Jamaican! By their next run not only have they gotten their groove they find the other teams and the Olympic announcement team getting behind them. The time of their big run that helps them get to the medal round is upon them. Derice and Irv have a moment to contemplate the circumstances that got them there and Irv tells Derice to enjoy the ride. The final race to qualify for the medals are upon the team when the unthinkable happens (Show the Bobsled crashing before cutting to James physically)
TLOTA:
And for those who thought I’d do some sort of silly sound effect or something like that then I suggest you consider that the real team can forever remember the smell of burning fiberglass when they crashed in the fourth turn and the Jamaicans have yet to even get to the Medal round to this day. It’d either demoralize a team or it’d make this type of ending. (Cut to the ending as the team get out of the sled and carry their sled across the finish line before cutting to the rest of the ending as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As the team take their sled across the finish line earning the respect of their peers. The movie ends letting us know while that the next time the team returned as equals. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
And though the real team have yet to earn the real deal. I’m gonna say that Cool Runnings has more than earned its weight in gold. (Cut to clips of the movie as “Rise Above It” by Rasta Rocket plays on the foreground and James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
The acting from the cast was amazing and though it was one of John Candy’s last movies, he put his all into the role of Irv Blitzer. The character interaction is possibly some of the best I’ve seen in a movie. Even though it does play loosey goosey with the source material there was so much enjoyable feel good moments that I can honestly recommend it. Give it a watch and feel The Cool running through you. (Cut to James physically.)
TLOTA:
I’m James Faraci The Last Of The Americans and That’s my opinion. (James steps away before cutting to a few hours later as he’s put everything up before cutting to everyone else as they’re relaxing in the main lobby.)
TLOTA:
So guys, we need to talk. (Cut to everyone else)
Paulo Fonseca:
If it’s about what we’ve been doing interrupting the reviews to break the tropes you’ve been doing by basically saying what we know you were going to say and have all of us say it, we’ve decided to back off that. (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
No, I’m glad you’re doing that. Helps keep me going with fresh ideas on how to be funny in these reviews. I wanted to say that I’ll see everybody in March so that way we can get the rest of the year’s reviews out of the way. (Cut to everyone else)
Olivia Horvath:
Well we hope you have some plans.
Ed Champion:
Yeah, I mean I don’t mind an easy paycheck, but we need to be doing more for our buck.
Andrew Beach:
And we’ve been talking that we shouldn’t be leaving you alone.
Eric Kurtzke:
That letter you got last month should be a warning. We took it to the cops and they said… (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Unless they try to do something to me, there’s nothing they can do. I know that because hours after I got it, I sent it to the police. Besides, Alex is coming by and we’ll be watching the Olympics. (Cut to the others)
Team TLOTA (In Unison):
Cool!
Rebecca Yaun:
I know I was a little worried about you last year but the way I saw you and her at that holiday party, you two it feels right. (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Hey we’re not official yet so let me take my time. See you guys next month. (The others walk out of the building as James double checks everything before his cell phone rings) Hello, oh hey Alex… Yeah, the Top 10 list is done, I tossed in a few Honorable Mentions and… Oh, Okay I Totally understand. Working on getting Season 4 up and going, totally hear where you’re coming from. I’m working on my fifth-year anniversary, I’ve got reviews and other countdowns to take care of. Yeah Next time you’re in town we’ll do something you want. Sure thing. You are most Welcome. See you then. Goodbye. (James shuts off his cell phone and mouths words “Alex, I love you.” Then sighs before the instrumental of “Mad World” by Gary Jules and James sings the lyrics as he locks the Studio down, puts on his winter gear and closes the front door and takes a moment to take off his glasses as he sings the last words of “Mad World” when a male voice behind him says “Well then, let me take you out of this world!” James says “Huh?” turns around to see a shovel clocking him and James’ glasses are thrown off him as we see through the lenses as James is shoved into a trunk of a car and is taken away fading to black)

Live to Win-Ter: The "Miracle" of The Olympics

(Scene starts as James straps on snowboarding gear and snowboarding down a mountain before cutting to John Santos, Mike Santos, Eric Kurtzke as they do curling Paulo Fonseca, Nick Yaun, Andrew Beach and Ed Champion as they hit the ice in Team USA Hockey gear before seeing Renee Miller and Rebecca Yaun in a two-person Bobsled careening through the course before seeing Olivia Horvath and Brenda Fonseca team up in pair of choreographed ice skating as they do a matching flying triple salchow and land next to everyone on top of the Olympic Podium as they all raise their Gold Medals before the raising of the American flag is seen and as the flag waves the words “Live To Win-Ter” is seen as 2:20-3:09 of “Live To Win” by Paul Stanley plays in the foreground before cutting to James in his office.)
TLOTA:
I’m James Faraci The Last Of The Americans and the views I’m about to express are that of my own and some of yours. With the Winter Olympics around the bend I figured it’d be a good thing to toss my hand into the Olympic Arena and talk about some Olympic Sports movies. (Cut to clips of different Olympic Sports Movies as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
You know those movies with the tales of either Underdogs facing insurmountable odds or the champions trying to regain one last glimpse of glory at the grandest sports event of the Winter every four years which is half way through the Presidential term so for those fearing how much longer Trump will be in office just another two years everyone! But I digress, For the next three months I will be talking about some stories featuring characters winning or coming close to winning the Gold and most of these movies though based on real life events that happened at the Winter Olympics will be judged as movies NOT as how the stories went in real life. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
And one of those stories happened just at a point where Patriotism was at an all time low and our Country had been hurt and we were on the verge of nuclear war. Hmm, not much has changed in the nearly forty years since that has happened. Wow. Forty years. Time flies. (Cut to images of newspapers and stories and images of the 1979-1980 point in time leading to the “Miracle On Ice” as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
By 1979 President Carter had made the statement of our country being in a state of Malaise. Even worse was the fact that the American Embassy in Iran had been taken over and all those insides were held hostage. While Cinemas were showing movies that were showing things getting better. The reality was far grimmer with The Cold War getting about as bad as it could get without nuclear weapons getting involved. Even in our Olympic sports we were looked upon as jokes. We couldn’t strike gold if we were in Fort Knox! That is until a member of the last team to win Gold for the United States in Hockey who was cut became the coach for the 1980 Winter Olympic Hockey Team. That man was Herb Brooks and instead going with name players from established teams. Brooks decided to use fresh faced College kids. Through rigorous training and dedication and some great wins and humiliating losses before the 1980 Winter Olympics opening February 14th, 1980. Team USA led by Coach Brooks made the Miracle on Ice happen February 22nd, 1980 one of the most Iconic moments in the history of the Olympics and a sign that things were going to be better in the 1980s. Making people believe in Miracles again and giving people a glimmer of hope in the process. While we did come up third in total Medal count the story behind the Miracle on Ice remains one of the most interesting ones to this day. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
Perfect fare for a Disney Sports movie! (Cut to title card of “Miracle” before cutting to clips of the movie as James does a voiceover while “Dream On” by Aerosmith plays in the foreground)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
And unlike another movie bio, this had two things going for it.  The First one being Herb Brooks being the creative consultant and secondly EFFORT in making it the most honest and true to real life events. But will it recapture the Miracle, or will it be yet another New York Jets Season.  (Cut to James Physically)
TLOTA:
Let’s start our Olympic Winter Festival with “Miracle” (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As the credits roll we’re given very brief glimpses of the political and social issues that somehow have become more pertinent now than when the moments happened. We’re soon introduced to Herb Brooks played by one of the most awesomest men ever to walk the earth Kurt Russell as Herb is coaching at the University Of Minnesota when the call for a coach for Team USA in the 1980’s Winter Olympics in Lake Placid New York. Herb is a little reluctant given the fact he was cut a week before the 1960’s Olympic team were to play and in all honesty, I don’t blame Herb for having the taste of Sour Grapes in his mouth. (Cut to James physically as everyone else off screen says “STOP!” before cutting to James meeting up with the others in the lobby)
TLOTA:
What do you guys mean by “STOP!”? (Cut to everyone else)
Paulo Fonseca:
We know where this is heading.
Brenda Fonseca:
The same spiel about Hollywood.
John Ross Santos:
And how they’re the enemy
Mike Santos:
And how they’ll never change because guys like you and The Nostalgia Critic, The Cinema Snob, Alex DeCourville, Antoni Mattei Garcia, Rowdy, Linkara, Viga, everyone with a Keyboard or a camera and an opinion that opposes Hollywood’s ways of doing things are the enemy and how Hollywood isn’t gonna be happy until Internet Reviewers are wiped off the map.
Olivia Horvath:
So much so we’ve compilated every single rant that is anti-Hollywood and we have decided to compile a lost of your top five complaints about Hollywood. (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Right here? Right now? (Cut to everyone else)
Team TLOTA (In Unison):
Why not? (Cut to a very upset James as he is in Boxing gear and facing off with a Star as Hollywood Premiere music plays in the background before the words “Top 5 The Last Of The Americans Anti-Hollywood Rants” before cutting to everyone in Team TLOTA.)
Paulo Fonseca:
Number Five: You and Hollywood are Politically incompatible
Brenda Fonseca:
We’re all aware that you are a Conservative Republican and in Hollywood terms you might as well be wearing a Swastika and carrying a copy of Mein Kampf. While there are a few Republicans in the entertainment industry they’re relegated to being made into jokes. Considering that a lot of your values come from here in Sullivan County New York it’s no surprise you don’t see eye to eye with Hollywood.
John Santos:
Number Four: Hollywood is age intolerant
Mike Santos:
You are nearly 40. People rarely as old as you get a break for someone around your nieces ages they would get a break easier and as you get older the odds mount against you so much a snowball in hell have a better chance. Let’s face it Hollywood would soon have you play grandparent roles than leading man or even second banana characters. If you were to have gone to Hollywood in your early teens, you would’ve stood a modicum of a chance. Now not so much.
Rebecca Yaun:
Number Three: Hollywood has NO concept of the real world
Nick Yaun:
According to you Hollywood is so far up its own ass it couldn’t see daylight if they found a way to find it on a GPS. Also, according to you they don’t see anything outside of itself. I can honestly say we’ve seen enough of that not only from your perspective but from all the news outlets siding with Hollywood in wanting not only Donald Trump Impeached but also all of us bowing before either terrorist from the Middle East or North Korea. Seeing men like you being made to be left saying “DUH!” sans any way of defending yourself and being led to slaughter like Cattle! If Hollywood were running the country, we’d never see what evil is out there.
Eric Kurtzke:
Number Two: Hollywood is a big city
Renee Miller:
You prefer being lost in the woods with your hunting rifle or a fishing rod than being a big city. You would be SO uncomfortable. You’d go crazy from being stuck in a city with a few hundred million people so quickly even your ancestors’ spirits’ heads would spin so FREAKING FAST they’d have no idea what happened.
Olivia Horvath:
And your Number One Anti-Hollywood Rant is…
Everyone except James (In Unison):
YOU’RE AN INTERNET REVIEWER AND HOLLYWOOD HATES THE INTERNET!
Ed Champion:
Hollywood Hates the internet unless Hollywood can milk the cash out of them quickly then send them back into the ether of the obscurity just as quickly. Poor Lucas Cruikshank became such a pop culture phenomenon with “Fred Figglehorn” Nickelodeon got three movies and a series from Lucas until they tried to put him in their network series sans any creative control like they did when they gave Fred and more of their tired old garbage of their current live action series.
Andrew Beach:
And of course Hollywood isn’t gonna be happy until every single Internet Reviewer like yourself, The Nostalgia Critic, Linkara, Alex DeCourville, Huey Toonmore, Rowdy, The Hardcore Kid, Antoni Matei Garcia and every single one of you guys are taken off YouTube for critics who Hollywood bought so even their worst movie is the best movie they ever saw. Disney bought Blip just to kill it off and since then every one of you have been limping on hoping to God something as good as Blip was comes to save the Internet Reviewer community. I mean now we have an Internet Creators Guild but that won’t stop Hollywood to try to use as much Political Muscle they can use to force everyone off. But until Hollywood sees that you are not the enemy. You are going to attack Hollywood for attacking your fellow internet reviewing friends and until Hollywood is forced to see the Real World, Accept Conservative Republicans in their 30’s, not be as big they are and somehow not see the Internet Reviewers and entertainers as evil we get it!
Everyone except James (In Unison):
As far as you’re concerned if Hollywood was wiped off the map. The world would be a better place! (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Okay, can I get back to the review? (Cut to everyone else)
Olivia Horvath:
Yeah
Andrew Beach:
Sure
Ed Champion:
Go right ahead. It’s just being around you we kind of knew what you were thinking. (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
That’s scary. (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Herb tells the Olympic Committee what he intends to do with the team for the United States when the Olympics come to Lake Placid and the Committee is impressed enough to give the Herb the job to coach the United Stated Olympic Hockey Team. Quickly getting his assistant coach and his team together but it’s not all sunshine and roses for the team as Coach Brooks tells the team his honest opinions and introduces an exercise known as “Herbies” until they dropped. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
Now I know what many of you are thinking. Wasn’t that too much. Well me and my team do a team building exercise like that. (Cut to James and his team making strides from James’ home’s back porch to the far end of the Neversink Reservoir as everyone huffs and puffs James says “Just keep moving. We’ll be back soon enough and remember Pain is just God’s way of telling you to try harder” before cutting to 0:36-end mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera moves back to see James on top of the slab with the words “The Last Of The Americans” on it act as the commercial break intro and return to the review as it cuts to the movie as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
After noticing his team was distracted during an exhibition game in Norway which ended in a tie. Herb made the team get back on the ice doing the “Herbies” until Mike Eruzione tells Coach Brooks that he and the team play for one place. (Show Mike Eruzione saying his name and that he plays for the United States before cutting to James physically.)
TLOTA:
Well that’s one way to say to your coach we’re ready to unite and open a can of Whoop-Ass. (Cut to the movie as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
While the movie omits the moment that had the US Team winning against the Russian second string in a championship game. It does show the team getting their backsides handed to them at Madison Square Garden by the Soviets as the Soviets won 10 to 3 and I’m willing to bet I know how the crowd handled the loss. (Cut to a bar as the patrons played by everyone on Team TLOTA are cheering the Downfall of the American dream as the character played by James starts drinking a bottle of Whiskey and falls as everyone else laughs before cutting to the movie as James continues his voiceover.)
But the time has come for the 1980 Olympics and as the US Team struggle against Sweden, but they tie and then go through Czechoslovakia, Norway, Romania and West Germany to make it to the Medal Round. Still feeling the hurting from the MSG manslaughter, they took that and turned it into inspiration as with split seconds left in the first period for the team Mark Johnson rebounds a shot from Soviet Goalie Vladislav Tretiak.  After the first round Tretiak is benched for Vladimir Myshkin as he takes them on ending the second period in a 3-2 lead in favor of the Soviets. Then came the mythic third and final period as Mark Johnson ties it up as a penalty that gave the US Team a man advantage. Later Mike Eruzione whose name means “Eruption” in English caused one with the game winning score, and then… (Show ending of the game through the movie as Al Michaels shouts “DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?! YEAH!” as 0:13-1:56 from “The Final Bell” in the Rocky Soundtrack plays as we see everyone getting excited and cheering before cutting to the movie as James continues his voiceover)
And as Team USA wins against Finland to seal the Miracle on Ice. The movie ends as Coach Herb Brooks waxes philosophic on what happened and a dedication to Herb Brooks who died after Principal Photography ended. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
And that was “Miracle” and guess what, made me believe in Miracles again! (Cut to clips of the movie as James does a voiceover while “Dream On” by Aerosmith plays in the foreground)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
While it does take liberties, it doesn’t water down what truly happened for the most part and it could’ve easily done that. The acting is amazing especially from the one and only awesome Kurt Russell. Give it a watch for a trip down Memory Lane for those who were there, and you remember the good points as well as the bad I hope it helped you and if you have kids or grandkids, it’s a good motivation to get them to believe in Miracles again. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
But our Olympian Movie Marathon has just begun I’m… (A knock on the door is heard as James looks around before looking down and seeing a folded-up message which James reads and sees the words “YOU WILL BE… DELETED!” before cutting to James going back into his office)

The Different Cuts of Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers

(The Stranger Things intro plays as Different letters outlined in Red are shown and the names “James Faraci”, “Rebecca Yaun”, “Nick Yaun”, “Paulo Fonseca”, “Brenda Fonseca”, “Olivia Horvath”, “Ed Champion”, “Renee Miller”, “John Ross Santos”, “Mike Santos”, “Andrew Beach” are shown in White as the letters outlined in red come together to form “The Last Of The Americans” before fading away to James in his office.)
TLOTA:
I’m James Faraci The Last Of The Americans and the views that I’m about to express are that of my own and some of yours and Welcome to another edition of “The Different Cuts” (Cut to The entire team as they are armed with Chainsaws and Double Barreled 12 Gauge Shotguns as Hordes of Zombies come their way and everyone on Team “TLOTA” hack and slash their way through them all with different body parts and blood spelling out “The Different Cuts” as the final Chorus from “Don’t Stop Me Now” covered by Darren Criss plays in the background before cutting to clips from the first “Halloween” movie play as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
The original 1978 Halloween movie directed by John Carpenter started the slasher film craze of the 1980’s and 1990’s and while Halloween II was as good as the first it should’ve ended there but sadly it didn’t. While the third movie tried to turn the franchise into an anthology series audience backlash forced producers to bring Michael Myers back and sadly the quality of the sequels kept going downhill so by the time the sixth one came out in 1995 the franchise was on its last legs! Having gone through hell the Original Producers Cut which was very dark and controversial and never got a theatrical release. The one we got was possibly one of the dumbest, unoriginal and yet somehow underrated movies in the entirety of the “Halloween” movies. Not even Rob Zombie’s reimagining of the original and the sequel that suceeded it can claim it is that damn good. But eventually in 2014 the original Producer’s Cut got a Blu-Ray release and Hoo boy are we in for it now! (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
I never thought I’d say this but I’m keeping the biggest spoiler OUT of this one when we talk about this movie and find out if the Theatrical or Producers’ version is the better cut of Halloween 6. Let’s start off as we usually do as we find out what and if this movie has a plot. (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and the words “The Plot” are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Set several years after Halloween 5, young Jamie Lloyd (Unenthusiastic Ha-Ha) is pregnant and gives birth to a baby which is taken by a cult but both mother and child escape with Michael Myers on the hunt for both. Meanwhile Dr. Loomis returns to find a way to stop Michael and this cult and protect the baby who is found by Tommy Doyle played by Paul Rudd in one of his first acting roles before becoming a Seth Rogen/Judd Apatow/Adam McKay regular player and of course “ANT-MAN” after they kill off Jamie Lloyd and we discover that the Strode family sans Laurie has moved into the Myers home.  (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, which one used this plot better? Well neither one. (Cut to clips of both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Okay so let me clear up how and which one of these cuts are going to be point worthy. The moment must be either the least annoying or most tolerable element in the plot and while the original Producers’ cut clears up who the father of Jamie Lloyd’s baby is, something I’ll never reveal here but sufficive to say that because the plot in the Producers’ cut was more coherent I have to give the point to the Producers’ cut because quite honestly that’s all this version has going for it so far. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So the Producers’ version draws first blood in this battle.  (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and a drop of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut of Halloween 6 before cutting back to James physically)
TLOTA:
So now we discover which one of these two were edited better and by better, I mean less excruciatingly painful to sit through. (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and the word “Editing” are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
I have to say the editing in both versions are atrocious. I guess it has to do with the fact that the Original Producers Cut was so negatively received by test audiences that they had to re-edit it in order to make sense or how they perceived it to make sense. The Theatrical cut took out huge chunks of subplots. One of which being the Cult and How Michael Myers was in fact the Lackey of Winn the supposed “True villain” of the movie, Footage of Dr. Loomis and the proposed ending of the original movie which would’ve had Loomis become Michael’s caretaker and Michael taking off his trademarked costume and becoming the figure in the Black coat thus giving way for more sequels with Donald Pleasence which never came to pass due to Donald Pleasence’s passing. But the fact the editing of the Producers’ cut puts a lot more into why and how the movie was the way it was. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, it goes without saying that the Original Producers’ cut is the far superior cut. Why is that? (Cut to clips of both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Because not only does this enhance the plot of the Producers’ cut even though the death scenes in the Theatrical cut is better for the most part, the Producers cut somehow has better flow making it by default the better edited movie. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
Point going to the Producers’ Cut.
(Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and a second drop of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut of Halloween 6 before cutting back to James physically)
TLOTA:
The Producers’ cut is ahead two to nothing but can the theatrical cut gain any ground in this slaughterhouse? We’ll find out after the break. (Power cuts out before returning) ORAC! What happened?
ORAC (Audio only):
I turned on the emergency generator, we are now on limited power until NYSEG can restart the power. (James gets out of his office to check around before coming across everyone else.)
TLOTA:
Guys! What happened? I thought I paid all the bills.
Olivia Horvath:
You did!
Rebecca Yaun:
We tried to contact someone but it’s like something is blocking the signals.
John Ross Santos:
I’ve looked around there’s no devices, no signal blockers, not even a mobile blocking app!
Ed Champion:
Am I the only one who has the Heebie Jeebies?
Andrew Beach:
Ed, It’s the Halloween season, everyone is scared. Granted everyone is more scared by the fact we could be nuked at any second is nothing to sneeze at right now but nothing too scary is gonna happen now.
Paulo Fonseca:
Exactly, I mean it’s not like there’s a mask wearing, weapon wielding maniac lurking in a dark corner.
Nick Yaun:
Well I say we arm ourselves, stay in pairs and if trouble should arise contact everyone. Rebecca you’re with me. (Cut to Rebecca moving next to Nick) Brenda, you’re with Paulo (Cut to Brenda moving over to Paulo before cutting to Rebecca and Nick Yaun) John, you’re with Mike (John and Mike just stand there and shrug their shoulders before cutting to Rebecca and Nick Yaun) Ed, you’re with Andrew (Cut to Andrew shuffling over past Olivia to stand beside Ed and Olivia next to Renee)
Olivia Horvath:
Looks like me and Renee are teaming up and Eric is with James? (Cut to Nick and Rebecca Yaun)
Nick Yaun:
Olivia, you must be Psychic! (Cut to James as Eric stands next to him)
TLOTA:
She told you last December that she was a Psychic Medium! (Cut to everyone except Olivia and James going OH! Before cutting to James and Eric.)
Eric Kurtzke:
Let’s not stand here, let’s get the weapons. (Everyone says “Right” as they separate and the Camera pans to one of the front Window Panels as Lightning shows Michael Myers played by Eric Kurtzke as the Michael Myers reveal music plays before cutting to 0:36-end mark from the theme from the final season of American Gladiators original run play the camera moves back to see James on top of the slab with the words “The Last Of The Americans” on it act as the commercial break intro and return to James as he sits with the rest of his notes and Eric moves around James with a loaded crossbow)
TLOTA:
Eric, you are making me very nervous.
Eric Kurtzke:
How?
TLOTA:
Oh, the fact you have a crossbow that could cause some damage to the uninitiated.
Eric Kurtzke:
Now James quit being so paranoid it’s not like it’s gonna… (The Trigger goes off and the Arrow ricochets around the office before it lands in Nick’s Baseball Bat giving Rebecca center parting in her hair. Cut to James as Eric nervously chuckles and walks out of frame.)
TLOTA:
Don’t go too far, just in case AND FOR THE LOVE OF PEAT MOSS KEEP THE SAFETY ON THE CROSSBOW! Now let’s see, what else do I usually do for comparison between the different cuts of Movies? Oh yeah, The Cast and Characters!  (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and the word “Cast and Characters” are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
Seeing how many good actors that are in this movie and how they are wasted is not a surprise to me. We have Donald Pleasence in his final performance before his death, Paul Rudd who should thank his lucky stars he had a career after this one, hell one of my favorite actresses many have forgotten about is in this pumpkin Kim Darby who was in the classic version of “True Grit” and for me IS Mattie Ross but in this movie, is Debra Strode who sadly ends up being Michael’s first victim. But everyone seems to remember from both cuts of this movie, is the abusive John Strode. He nearly gets knifed by his grandson for being such an asshole and surprisingly I don’t relate to the asshole, as a matter of fact seeing him die is possibly one of the better moments in both movies. Then there’s the supposed “True Villain” of the movie Dr. Winn. The character was so transparently evil… you know what let me do this (James jumps into the movie as it pauses on Dr. Winn as James pulls out a sharpie and writes “VILLAIN” on Dr. Winn’s forehead.)
TLOTA:
HOW MUCH MORE FREAKING OBVIOUS CAN I MAKE IT?! (Cut to clips of both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
But to find out which one is the point worthy of the two. We’re going to break it down as such. Which characters did you like as they die? Well for me the death of John Strode was more graphic and surprisingly more satisfying as Michael Myers electrocuted him in the theatrical cut. But I think I know why Michael was killing off the Strodes. (Cut to Tommy and Kara as they talk about why Michael is attacking The Strodes and Tommy says that if someone is staying in Michael’s family home they are his family from the Producer’s Cut before cutting back to clips of both movies as James does a voiceover)
Then there is the Characters you know are just there to help get Michael into a killing frenzy and quite honestly the deaths are more interesting and less abstract in the Producer’s cut. But while the cult never got theirs in the Producer’s cut the theatrical one does show Winn and the Thorn Cult getting slaughtered but it also has Paul Rudd’s Tommy beat Michael Myers like a government mule. So, it’s a toss-up on which one is the better one but because this is too close to count so I should give the point to both. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
So, with little to no surprise both get the point but the Producer’s cut is ahead 3-1 (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and a three drops of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut and one drop on the theatrical cut of Halloween 6 before cutting back to James physically)
TLOTA:
Now comes the moment I know neither one should get but one will. Let’s look at both cuts to see which one has The Re-Watch Factor! (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and the word “The Re-Watch Factor” are spouted out in blood before cutting to both versions of Halloween 6 as James does a voiceover.)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
I’m gonna say it right now, neither cut is worthy of being worth the point. But I will say this about both movies. If you want more of the Original Halloween movie’s vibe then the Producer’s Cut is good for a few reasons. First off, more Donald Pleasence is a plus in this movie even though the director of this movie found Dr. Loomis boring which is a LOAD! Secondly there are more musical cues from the original soundtrack and finally less jump scare music. There’s subtlety, build-up, character development and a twist about the baby’s father which WILL NEVER be mentioned here plus they also did make a more disturbing feature. The Theatrical cut has its own unique feel to it. While it is a mess, it is a somewhat enjoyable mess that somehow finds itself above the bottom of the barrel than the Rob Zombie Remake and Sequel. While yes, I feel no need to give the point to the theatrical cut, I can say it tried but it failed miserably! So, for the mere fact it’s a lot more coherent and feels like a Halloween movie even though it goes off its own rails, I give the Producer’s Cut of Halloween 6 the point making it the superior cut of “The Curse of Michael Myers”. (Cut to James physically)
TLOTA:
The Producer's cut has a total of four points to the one of the theatrical making The Producer's Cut the winning cut of “Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers” (Cut to the covers of The Producers’ cut and The Theatrical Cut of “Halloween 6” as the 1978 “Halloween” theme plays in the background before a knife comes between the two covers and four drops of blood lands on the cover of the Producers’ cut and one drop on the theatrical cut of Halloween 6 before cutting to Tommy Doyle as he bashes both cuts with a lead pipe then cut to James physically as the power goes out once again.)
TLOTA (Audio only):
NOW WHAT? (James grabs a flashlight and looks around in the dark with bolts of lightning striking showing Michael Myers is three arms’ length away)
TLOTA (Audio only):
Brenda? Paulo? Rebecca? Nick? Eric? Renee? John? Mike? Andrew? Ed? Liv? Anyone there? This is so ridiculous, I paid the bills, I mean yeah by the skin of my teeth but at least I got them paid off and everyone else got paychecks. I put what’s left after everything else has been considered into my savings account and hope it adds for when I finally move out of my parent’s place. This is so ridiculous even I can’t fathom how ridiculous it is! (The power returns as James sees everyone looking in total fear.)
TLOTA:
Hey guys! Everything appears to be fine. (Cut to everyone else)
Renee:
Uh James, do you do realize that you got yourself some bad news behind you? (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
No, uh is he friendly? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone else:
 No! (Cut to James)
TLOTA:
Well then, is it someone we should be afraid of? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone Else:
 YES! (Cut to James.)
TLOTA:
Just out of curiosity, who is behind me? (Cut to everyone else)
Everyone Else:
 MICHAEL MYERS!
(Cut to James as he turns around to see Michael Myers as the Halloween theme performed by Colin Drum plays in the background from the 0:00-0:49 mark as James gets his left arm cut as he tries to reach for a sonic screwdriver while everyone else runs out leaving James to fend for himself, James runs for his life and Michael Myers lumbers behind James eventually cutting to ORAC’s chamber in which James is tossed to the podium where ORAC is resting and James is getting choked to death by Michael Myers.)
ORAC:
ACCESSING THE TWIST ABOUT YOUNG STEPHEN FROM THE PRODUCER’S CUT OF HALLOWEEN 6: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS
(Cut to the moment in the Producer’s cut of “Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Myers in which Kara reveals that Michael Myers knocked up his 15 year old niece Jamie Lloyd to produce baby Stephen before cutting to James as he gets angry and gets Michael Myers off his throat!)
TLOTA:
You…Asshole! You…Inhuman beast! You…pile of RAT FECES!  YOU HAD YOUR WAY WITH YOUR FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD NIECE?! YOU SICK SICK BASTARD?! I tried to reason with myself to never mention that moment! I tried to assure myself that the moment never happened! I tried to understand the moment but I understand it perfectly and I think that I now understand and I know you are unsalvageable and I don’t know if you should be allowed forgiveness, peace of mind or just simple redemption, I don’t suppose it really matters anymore You ARE A MONSTER! THAT IS THE ROLE YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO PLAY, SO IT SEEMS THAT I MUST PLAY MINE! THE MAN WHO DESTROYS THE MONSTERS! I’M SENDING YOU TO HELL SCREAMING IN PAIN AS I SHOVE YOU ASS FIRST INTO A WOOD CHIPPER, WHO KNOWS?! MAYBE THE DEVIL WILL GIVE YOU SANCTUARY AND IF HE DOES NOT REMEMBER THIS! YOU ARE NO LONGER WELCOME HERE! THIS REALM IS DEFENDED! I AM JAMES FARACI THE LAST OF THE AMERICANS! AND I NAME YOU THE SHAPELESS!
(James punches Michael Myers through the front door as 0:50-2:59 plays in the foreground as James and Michael Myers trade blows eventually Michael Myers being punched into a lamp post in the parking lot outside James’ studio and falling down at the 1:37 mark and James standing there exhausted before James picks Michael Myers up and snaps both of Michael Myers wrists and continues his attack on Michael Myers and Michael Myers trying to run away from James as he continues his attack until he sees a Wood Chipper used in Street cleaning and forces Michael towards it and James drop kicking him in ass first into the wood chipper and Michael Myers dies screaming in pain before cutting to a semi bloodied James Faraci as everyone else looks to see the shredded bits and pieces of Michael Myers being splattered all over the street!)
John Ross Santos:
Damn dude!
Mike Santos:
Yeesh This is gonna take a while for the state to clean up!
Ed Champion:
Yep and What a way to go!
Andrew Beach:
Nah, jumping into a pool full of flesh hungry piranhas covered in meat! That’s the way for me!
Paulo Fonseca:
Andrew, take it any way you want but you are weird!
Nick Yaun:
Well that little girl in Halloween 6 was right, it’s raining red!
Rebecca Yaun:
Yeah but the little girl was nuts!
Brenda Fonseca:
After seeing this, I realize I should never get on your bad side
Renee Miller:
I just realized, I’m the first black woman to survive a horror movie.
Olivia Horvath:
Nevertheless, you made good on your word. You sent Michael Myers to hell screaming in pain as he died going ass first into a wood chipper!
TLOTA:
I just finished what everyone else started already started!
(Cut to different clips of the Halloween movies with Michael Myers as James does a voiceover)
TLOTA (Voiceover):
As much as there are a few bright spots in this movie franchise, I truly feel this franchise has been ripped, shredded, torn, sliced, diced, massacred, burned, frozen, shattered and broken so badly that the only thing left for it to do is let it die. Although there are rumors of John Carpenter returning to executively produce a new one but to be honest, it may be too little too late for Michael Myers to be saved. Nothing will ever top the original and for as much as they wanted to build on things from the first movie but it should’ve been just a one-off movie for Michael Myers. If there were to have been sequels after the 1978. It should’ve built on the how and why these people became Michael’s targets without going into crazy stuff like a Celtic cult based on the thorn symbol or being into itself to wonder Why Michael became a psychotic killer. Michael is just a psycho, we don’t need too much backstory on Michael. That’s why Rob Zombie’s version of Halloween and its sequel didn’t connect and why this one failed to succeed at all. So, I’m going to ask this one more time, let Michael Myers die already! (Cut to James and everyone else)
TLOTA:
Come on guys let’s get back to the studio. (Everyone else walks away) I’m James Faraci The Last Of The Americans and That’s my opinion! (Cut to an overhead shot of James as he walks away and the camera pulls back to show that blood spatter that was Michael Myers show the sign of the thorn as the audio of the creepy little girl singing “It’s Raining Red” echoes in the background as she sings “It’s Raining Red” echoing even further as it fades to black before cutting to James in the main lobby as he talks on his cell phone.)
TLOTA:
Okay, Yes, Yes, I got it! Well by coincidence it’ll be after I finish my Top 13 Stephen King Characters list and seeing as how I’m leaving the Haunted House for the kiddies that morning and the Haunted Adult Swim Party to the rest of my crew, I’m free that day. I’m always willing to help anyway I can! See you October 31st. Bye! (James shuts off his cell phone and finds Paulo, Rebecca, Nick, Brenda and Olivia in James’ office)
TLOTA:
How did you guys know I needed you? (Cut to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ office)
Olivia Horvath:
I sensed you’d call for us? (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
Okay. I’ll buy that. Listen can you hold up the fort Halloween, I promised Alex from “Life As A Mermaid”, I’d take Taylor & Marcella to a con in Upstate New York.  (Cut to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ Office)
Brenda Fonseca:
Yeah, about that, what do you owe them? (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
What I owe them is my respect. They give their best performances and I enjoy that and I want to help them out anyway I can. (James turns to the audience) And the best way you can help is supporting their Patreon, Link Here: https://www.patreon.com/lifeasamermaid so they can bring more great episodes and more great seasons! (James turns back to everyone else before cutting to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ Office)
Paulo Fonseca:
Exactly my wife’s point. Why did you give them and their Patreon a shout out? (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
They bring entertainment that’s light and in our world, that’s quickly heading south don’t you guys think it’s something we all need? (Cut to Paulo, Nick, Rebecca, Brenda and Olivia in James’ Office)
Nick Yaun:
James, we see your point. The point we’re trying to make is you shouldn’t overdo yourself. We care about you. (Cut to James in the doorway)
TLOTA:
I know you guys do but it’s something I want to do as well. Who knows maybe things might be fun and fun is in short supply. I’ll see you guys later! (James walks off as it cuts to Paulo, Nick, Brenda, Rebecca and Olivia in James’ office)
Olivia Horvath:
Okay, he’s gone. Now can you tell me what you need from me?
Rebecca Yaun:
I know this might sound silly but we heard whispers saying things about being Hope for… For James let’s not beat around the bush on this. (A ghostly whisper says “Broken” and everyone looks up and around)
Paulo Fonseca:
Olivia, tell me you heard that!
Olivia Horvath:
Yeah, I heard the word “Broken”!
Nick Yaun:
Good, so we’re not crazy! (A light emanates off the letter as Ghostly whispers echo the following “He is Broken”, “Broken must be rebuilt”, “He must be rebuilt”, “Rebuild the Hope”, “Rebuild the Broken” and everyone in James’ office is left in stunned silence for two seconds as the echoes of the Ghostly Whispers dissipate)
Olivia Horvath:
Okay this is something that isn’t going to go away anytime soon, one suggestion I have is…
Rebecca Yaun:
We discussed this already, telling James is not only a bad idea, it is the Mother and Father of Bad Ideas get together and their child has one even worse than the bad idea the grandparents of that bad idea had. That is how bad the idea is!
Olivia Horvath:
Whether we tell him now or he discovers it further down the road, he’ll know and if he knows you knew before he did, he’s gonna let you have it with both barrels. The first chance we get, we should tell him about it.
TLOTA (Audio only):
About the Whispers? (Everyone else jump and gasp in surprise as James returns to the office.)
TLOTA:
The question I have now is… Did you discover the whispers around the same time I did or not?
Brenda Fonseca:
Well… remember last month when we were helping you clean up after the whole cancelled Disney continuation series?
TLOTA:
Oh, okay so the same time I heard it.
Olivia Horvath:
Wait you all knew at the same time? Why not ask for my help earlier?
TLOTA:
Well I had heard it while I was working with ORAC, I had no idea at the time if anyone else heard, I take it you heard those whispers when you were cleaning up and Liv I wanted to wait until after Halloween so we could focus the meaning together. Which is something we will all do together. Though Rebecca, why do you think it’d be me?
Rebecca Yaun:
That letter was from Emmalina, who else could it be?
Olivia Horvath:
I think the best way is for me to feel the Letter to understand what’s going on. (James reluctantly takes the letter from its frame and hands the letter to Olivia who two seconds after touching it feels the energy flowing through it.)
TLOTA:
LIV! (Olivia’s eyes turn white as it shows she is possessed by a spirit)
Olivia Horvath (Possessed):
James! Are you there?
TLOTA:
I’m here! Emmalina? Is that you?
Olivia Horvath (Possessed):
Emmalina? Yes! I once went by that name! Now I am in someone else!
TLOTA:
Who? Who are you, now? Is Olivia Horvath there?
Olivia Horvath (Possessed):
Olivia is accessing me from where I am now! I don’t know where I am! I know inside you are without hope! You are Broken! Your friends will find me and when they do hope will be restored and you will be rebuilt. We will meet again! (A burst of energy blasts out of Olivia Horvath that sends shockwaves through the studio everyone save for James gets back up to take care of Olivia.)
Paulo Fonseca:
Olivia, Are you okay?
Nick Yaun:
Are we sure it’s even her?
Olivia Horvath:
It’s me but I felt something pass through me. Wait, is James even alive. (Cut to James as he gets up and grabs the letter as the words fade away.)
Paulo Fonseca:
James, what happened?
TLOTA:
I don’t know.
Olivia Horvath:
It looks like the words have disappeared.
Rebecca Yaun:
What does that mean?
Nick Yaun:
Can I say what might’ve happened? I think whatever was in the letter has gone to where Emmalina is.
Brenda Fonseca:
That’s a possibility. What do we do now?
TLOTA:
Simple, we put the letter back in the… Huh that’s odd. (James puts the glass on the letter and the words reappear and when the glass is not on the letter the words disappear.) When the letter is framed in the glass, the words appear but when it’s not in its frame the words are gone. Liv, any idea as to why that is? (Olivia looks at the letter as the words appear and disappear.)
Olivia Horvath:
That is not your everyday glass, is it?
TLOTA:
There is a filter to protect the original version but if the words are still there that means Emmalina is still out there and only she can revive the words without the filter and for now we keep things as they are and we hope she finds us here. Meanwhile I’ve got my word to fulfil! (Everyone walks out as they try to move forward knowing they are united in one secret.)
